This Bulls-Knicks draft night trade would send Kevin Knox to Chicago

The Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks are both in similar positions this offseason. After missing the playoffs once again, both franchises are looking to make a move or two that can put them back on the map when it comes to the playoff conversation. Kevin Knox could be a part of those plans for both teams.

Yes, that’s right, the Bulls and Knicks should consider talking about a potential trade that would send Knox to Chicago. He is a good young talent, but the Knicks need to make some aggressive moves. Moving up in the 2020 NBA Draft could be one of those moves.

Knox put together a rough second season with the Knicks. He averaged 6.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 0.9 assists. None of those numbers were what New York was hoping to see from him.

Shipping him off to the Bulls in a deal that brings in the No. 4 overall pick could make sense for the Knicks. Knox doesn’t seem to be a great fit in New York, but he is obviously a talented player. Perhaps he could turn things around with the Bulls.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at a potential trade that would send Kevin Knox from the Knicks to the Bulls.

I don't think he said that. I think he said they were offered a all-star for John Collins.

I could see a Ben Simmons for John Collins type offer being accepted if Philly can someone pull off a CP3 trade.

CP3/Collins/Embiid sure fits a lot better than Simmons/Embiid

I’m not on the hawks forum but that’s what Juco said. He said Toronto offered Siakam to Atlanta for more cap space to go after Giannis.

i'm pretty sure if he told them he was leaving, the bucks would rather take siakam themselves in a trade than lose giannis for nothing

Giannis has to choose between I) Supermax salary and his sympathy for the Bucks, II) a better and stronger franchise in a better market. Its not an easy choice.

If the Bucks agree on a trade. It will make the choice pretty easy for Giannis. He will get the Supermax he will play for a better franchise. And the trade will give a consolation prize to The Bucks.

If the Bucks want to make the decision harder, they will not entertain any trade. Its a risky move. But I dont think they will be competitive without Giannis.

Foolish Warriors ain't know **** about rim runners

I think it's hilarious you're using this angle when all the Warriors have used for centers are rim runners & a hobbled Cousisn

Bogut, Zaza, McGee, Ezeli, Damian Jones, Looney are all rim runners and their most dynamic center so far has been Marqueese Chriss.

They also are interested in signing Dwight, maybe we should do it first since they're such a great organization and he did hit a three at the end finals game 6, he must have more to his game

There’s no way he’s gonna be able to shoot off the dribble in the nba

I actually think his shot looks even smoother now. His pull up jumper doesn’t look awkward to me. He’s not creating much space of his step back though. But I def see some improvement imo.

yeah looks a little better to me too. his release on his mid-range shot is noticeably higher than his 3 ball

still have my concerns tho about his jumper/getting the rim, but wouldn't be mad if he were the pick at 8

if they're gonna take a backup C my choice would be Xavier Tillman

-High IQ
-great motor player
-protects the rim
-great passer
-can shoot a bit

tbh, I think what ESPN proposed was pretty fair. #8 + Dallas 2021 pick, which is more likely than not going to be in the 20's. 2021 is a deep draft, yes, but if they're that sold on Ball, a mid to late 1st shouldn't stop them

I don’t want to underestimate Luka and Carlisle but the West is going to be ultra competitive next season plus the Mavs are likely to save its cap space for 2021. There is a chance that pick will be better than in the 20’s. Won’t be surprised if it will be in the lottery.

not rading a 2021 pick to move up. Dallas is one luka injury from being a high lottery team. No way in hell to you give that up for not a sure thing.

Warriors probably know that Wiseman’s skill set will be wasted on their team. I think there are trades that could turn out to be a win-win for both teams involved and that a form of a Mitch for Wiseman swap can be one of them.
