The guy complained about his minutes, yet he played twice as much as Obi gets. He’s not going to play any more here unless he starts and gets 30+, and even if that happened we got a lot of other guys who shoot and handle the ball unless we trade a bunch of em. How do you see this turning out dude?

Cam got the total package on the surface but when u look past the flash there’s little substance to his game. Sure he was prob worth a shot but ppl got rights to be skeptical.

He can just continue his corner 3 48% and ramp up his defense and it’s a win for what we need. Reaching his potential is a bonus which is why the first rounder was sent. The skills are there.

Imo Burks or Fournier is probably gone.

Can someone compare his numbers to Evans so we can all move on from the complaining

The Los Angeles Lakers offered the Atlanta Hawks two second round picks for Cam Reddish before he was traded to the New York Knicks.

Reddish had been available since before the draft with the request of a first round pick.

The Hawks also had conversations with the Indiana Pacers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons.

The Hawks also sought Quentin Grimes from the Knicks but the deal was eventually Reddish and Solomon Hill for Charlotte's first round pick and Kevin Knox.

Everyone’s beloved Lakers were attempting to acquire Reddish too. Is he still not worth the price of acquisition?

They offered two second rounds for him. All it took was a protected first and Knox to get it done.

I'm in the same boat and I wouldn't be too concerned about even an Obi/Grimes + fillers + DAL pick type deal.

But the fit would be very clunky with our roster in terms of spacing.

It’s not settling for me I think it would be a huge get for us he’s averaging 24.1 ppg in the month of January he’s only 24 y/o and a very talented guard already had three 30 point games and a 29 pt game in 2022. But I forgot this is the Knicks where we have so many great PGs come through here we don’t need to settle we have very high standards I’m sure prime magic Johnson is coming any day now

Myles Turner appears the likeliest Indiana player to be traded before the deadline, with a list of suitors that includes Dallas, Minnesota, New York, Sacramento, Charlotte and Portland. Toronto was also mentioned by several league personnel as a team to keep an eye on for Turner's services. The Pacers' asking price is said to include multiple first-round picks.

Caris LeVert has known suitors in Cleveland and New York, but so far Indiana has requested multiple first-round picks for the 27-year-old guard as well, sources said. The Pacers have also placed calls assessing the value of Justin Holiday, Jeremy Lamb and Torrey Craig.

There's a strong possibility Dennis Schroder is traded ahead of the deadline. Boston is expected to avoid the tax and therefore likely won't be able to afford the point guard this offseason, which was also why the Celtics moved Daniel Theis to the Bulls last season. New York, Cleveland and Dallas have been mentioned as potential destinations for Schroder.

Turner I kind of get the rumor, but not at that price.

Schoeder? Again, Knicks could use a PG who will stay healthy, but doesn't Boston need a PG as well? I doubt they promote Payton Pritchard to full time backup to Smart.

I want to like the Cam trade and there's a chance it will work out.

But I recall similar sentiments for Mudiay, who I didn't like (but I was probably too invested in fellow future bust Frank) and also Super Mario, who I also convinced myself that his skills and athleticism might play with a 2nd chance.

It probably won't work out, but I don't the team taking the chance. But lots of guys get drafted higher up and then don't pan out as good, or pan out as "ok"

I mean, Doug McDermott is your stereotypical white guy player, runs around, makes his jumpers (except as a Knick), the bank shots etc. But he was drafted high. Now, Cam, with more athleticism, more shake, but ultimately may not translate until any better player, just different. And that would be a good scenario.

People thinking we got another Paul George, but it could be Dark McDermott.
