It didn't say that at did it?

Nah, just me assuming.

Nah. Let's be real -- Melo has no choice, he's coming back.

What he's doing is waiting to see if Phil can get Bron and/or what is going to happen with Bron.

I take that as flexibility and maybe some word from Phil and Bron.

Doesn't mean he's leaving if not but he's waiting to make it work.

Cool.

But Bron or not, for better or worse, 129 million reasons that Melo is a Knick again.

Spare me the "I'm doing it for the Knicks own good" BS, please. Dude spilled Nets info without thinking twice and now suddenly has a conscience?

He's already stated he's a Knick fan. All the more reason to spill on the Nets.

This board is going to shut down if Amare and Bargnani are traded on Thursday.

Obviously they would give up the farm if it meant Melo and Lebron. But I still don't see it being that easy to move Stat and/or Bargs.

If Philly is willingly taking on salary in exchange for a middle of the road prospect why wouldn't Chicago be calling them with a Boozer/Butler/Snell package? Chicago could even add in one of their picks. Philly could possibly get back a better prospect who doesn't have the injury history, a pick sooner then any we could give, and take on less money all for helping the Bulls get more cap room for Melo. Wouldn't that be a better more likely deal then taking on Stat?

Do we know Philly turned down that package?

And the farm includes multiple unconditional first round picks. BTW, the amount between the floor and the cap is a little over 6 million. We include 3 million in cash considerations and that is 3 million out of Philly owners pockets to add multiple young players and first round picks.

Of course we don't know if Philly turned down that package. But if they would theoretically take a Stat/Shump package do you think that the Bulls aren't smart enough to offer Boozer/Butler? Or do you really think that our package is better? If it meant adding Melo to Rose/Noah/Gibson, I'm sure that the Bulls would offer unprotected picks and cash also.

1. I don't think it would mean adding Melo, that wouldn't be enough to get them the max. I don't see why that deal would have ever been offered officially.

2. Yes, if our package included picks than clearly.

My sauces are telling me we have deal lined up with the Suns to trade Bargnani, JR, Hardaway and a future first for cap space. We will then trade Amar'e and Shump to the Bucks in a 3 way deal with Minnesota where Larry Sanders, Early and Prigioni will head to the Wolves with Kevin Love coming to the Knicks. The remaining cap space will be used to sign Gasol.

Carl is Phil. It all makes sense now. MODs, check to see if he's using a Vegas IP.

I don't care for explanations.

Curt Hennig is calling out Carl right now.

Tell us what's going down - with no beating around the bush - or be perfect-plexed into oblivion.

And if you're wrong, I will find you and flay you until you're calling yourself Reek.
