The math is different but the concept is the same. Did the math last year really hurt us? No. Which is why we are in this exact position. The difference is we are going thru the same fruitless harvest again. And watch the new 1 year signings play above the players who should be being developed again.

It's hard to say what the concept is, because the two biggest FAs are still available and we're the only team with space

they really haven't signed a starter yet or a high usage guy. Also a lot of the teams worse then them are getting better

GSW, Minny, ATL...so if we are the same we now have easily a top 3 worst record.

the tank this year does seem to be more purposeful so far, i'll give you that. there's no pretense of trying to win so far.

and remember randle and portis came early. Mills and Perry spent big bucks really early...it was there "ideal" offseason

we seem to just be chilling and canvacing the markets for cheap deals.

two things i dont see happening

-Knicks going into the season with ntilkina or dennis as a starting point guard
-Randle not getting traded to open up minutes for Obi

I dunno. Augustine shoots it better but Teague is way better at getting to the rim. Augustine is probably better fit with RJ so him I guess.
