Let's be careful here - the Bridges trade and residual effects are still a looming disaster.

IMO you have to evaluate the Bridges trade in unison with the KAT trade because one may have dictated the other. So while I feel like we traded WAY WAY too much for Bridges, I feel like trading for KAT was at a discount. If we had all the picks available to us, they may have made us pay more.

The KAT trade was quietly a lot like the Doncic trade.

Time to break up the Villanova crew. It isn't working.

It’s not the Villanova crew, but it’s the wings. Too many holes elsewhere on the roster and the redundancy of the wings isn’t maximizing their impact.

Bridges is a small forward
Hart is a small forward
Anunoby is a small forward

We are playing 2 out of 3 out of position - which is why our lineup lacks a secondary ball handler and rim protector.

Bridges has not been what was advertised, but I will leave that alone.
Hart is really at his best as a change of pace player off of the bench. He was in the midst of a career year, nearly an all-star level year, but this slump has been ugly.
He is at his best uptempo, but most of our team isn't uptempo. He pairs well with Deuce because Hart is actually more of a point guard than anything else. We start games off slow, usually more half court trying to get guys into a rhythm, then when we get loose, we have some uptempo. Hart off the bench solves a lot of problems.

Hart came up lame recently

He's effective as a maximum effort guy which is not something you can sustain when you are diagnosed with knees suffering from overuse

The very thing that makes him impactful is what enticed Thibs into playing him crazy minutes in the playoffs and now we're seeing the result of overplaying Hart

Hopefully they'll trade at least one of those guys next year for a player that actually fits/works

If only Hart and Precious could simply shoot threes it would solve a lot of the issues

If Hart has a poor shooting playoffs he's the guy I'd be trying to trade.

If they don't now, they never will. Not every player is Brook Lopez, who discovers how to shoot late into his career.

Precious will get there. Like Taj Gibson.

Hart will always be inconsistent because of his mechanics. so many moving parts and odd angles. Hard to repeat.

The only bright side from this game is that our defense with KAT and Mitch looked promising and OG is a beast.

OG will only be considered a beast here until he has a bad game and you (all) want to trade him for the KDs, LaVines and Antetokounmpos of this world as if all of this was a simulation.

And RJ for OG or Siakam trades, Randle for Towns trades and Bogdanovic for Bridges trades. That’s about it. I talked about Vucevic and DeRozan too. So I guess since most of these switched teams or even came true, i don’t need to pay much attention to you - especially since Kessler and Grant world still be nice pieces here and have of course been talked about league-wide. Also note that I haven’t brought up Grant in more than a year now.

You’re embarrassing your self more by bringing up guys like Vucevic. You really wanted us to build a team around Vucevic, Mikal, Grant, Nurkic. That’s worse than Phil Jackson. Humble yourself.
