If we get the 4th , that will be very disappointing. I'm shooting for the 3rd pick. The basketball gods will not bless us with either of the top 2 picks. You can thank Dolan for bringing the black cat back to the garden.

Give me 5 Towns or D'Angelo Barksdale Russell Bell. That's it.

Well that's more than OK4 has ever done defensively.

I'm calling it now just like I said to my friends in 2008 when we took Gallinari, if we draft Porzingis he's never going to be an elite player and we'll end up trading him and future draft picks to get an elite player at his position. As is par for the Knicks recent team history, the crowd of Knicks fans who grew up with Ewing will know this pick will fail, while the high school/college aged fans who never witnessed the 1990s playoff runs will make this Porzingis chap their favorite player because they don't to believe he can suck. He will then prove every pessimist correct, while still giving small rays of hope to his fans that he "can be better." After 2 1/2-5 years of watching the player be nothing better than JAG at best, Knicks management will trade him for a disheartened Jhalil Okafor who wants out of his contract with [insert black hole small market team here] and the fanbase will be split. Okafor will show above average to elite play in most areas, but the Porzingis crowd will latch on to one or two less useful advanced metrics that suggest Porzingis is better despite the eye test and most other stats. For the next 5 years the Porzingis fans will troll Okafor as the team still doesn't play at championship level.

Please God save us all from this, do not let my Knicks draft Porzingis.

That story makes me hope we get Towns even more now

Gallo was really loved by the NYK community...not sure if Porzingis can reached that fandom with the NY crowd, not sure if he has Gallo's personality.

In this fever dream, do you have us drafting Porzingis over Okafor? Or anybody in the top 4?

Feeling same.. And my heart wants it cuz D'Angelo is my guilty pleasure of a pick. Cant select him over Okafor/Towns, but he is the guy I want to see in orange n blue most

It's my thought too. Then we argue over DRuss and Mudiay (and possibly OK4 if Sixers are in Top 2) for a month.

I think a lot of people are thinking that. That's why we'll probably end up with 4.

Oh sh*t. 2010, why do you have to come out throwing haymakers at Okafor on a fine Tuesday afternoon bro?

He's clearly taking Towns if 1.
