And what all-star do you deem fit to fill the last spot on the New York Knicks?

Elliot Williams is very athletic but he just never impresses when I watch him play.

I hope that this is indication that the team doesn't like Ledo or doing due diligence and not that the team feels Shved isn't coming back.

Elliot Williams actually reminds me of Shved. A big guard, good quickness/athleticism, good ballhanding, good rebounding for position, stuck between a 1/2, improving shot, and pretty good defense. He'd be a good player in this system. I'd rather him than Ledo, because I think he contributes to winning more than Ledo would.

Shved for starters

And if not him, then at least a big body scrub, not a scrub guard

Also who is to say we only have one available spot. We have no idea if there will be trades between now and opening night. Rosters are also fluid during the regular season with trades and injuries. The Knicks are building up their data base and if a need occurs they have an good idea who they can plug in.

Fans should never get upset when they hear a team is working out a player, it goes on all the time. After all it is part of their business.

He was a mid/late 1st round pick of the Blazers I believe 3 or 4 years ago. Lefty - maybe 6'4" with athleticism --- I think he's an off-guard if anything.

I would think Elliot or Hackett would be vet min signings -- maybe they view these guys as defensive players but that wasn't Elliots rep when he was drafted.

people are forgetting that by the beginning of the season several more (likely minor) changes can occur.
players cab be traded or cut, to make space for others.
the roster is not finalized yet, so it makes sense to keep looking for opportunities to better the team

They do have an advantage. My friend I played against for years is a lefty. He'd catch be off balanced a couple of times a game.

on both sides of the floor

offense they catch you off guard and on D they have the advantage of their dominant hand being in the shooter or dribblers space easier

but its a smaller advantage than experience, athleticism and/or skill
