Capn'O just went all Biggie on us and took it from the 1-2/1-2 format and complexed it out to the 1-1/2-2 format

is your name 2010 because of the Knicks pursuit of Lebron in 2010? that summer was tragic. Can you change your name to 2015 for the next 4 hours pls.

I'm going on record now.

I'd be in a state of euphoria if we get Russell
I'd be happy with Towns
I'd be content with OK4...we just better build the right team around him
I'd be intrigued by Mudiay
I'd be like "typical Knicks" with anyone else

Knicks VP Jamie Matthews will be in ping pong ball room. Not Phil.

Ruocco just said it's at 7 pm (not 8:30 p.m. as the OP states). Do we have the time correct?

Correct. And I'd have no problem changing it to "2015" if the mods let me.

but in GIF form for the sake of it what happens if we do land the top pick when you find out?

Name those teams.

I'm not saying Porzingis is not a top 6 player, or that he wont be drafted top 6, or 3 or whatever. I'm saying he is at least 1 year away from playing 20mpg effectively in the NBA.

Why is strength an issue for Porzingis but not for Russell?

Teams drafting very high aren't looking to fit immediate needs as much as they are trying to find All-Star level talent.

Porzingis has All-Star level talent, size and athleticism at 19 and plus 7'.

Porzingis is a SF/PF who will play exclusively inside the arc. He's going to have to absorb and deal hits and contact inside the elbow, just like Melo does. At his weight/height he loses leverage against guys who are stronger than he is and since his center of gravity is much higher, he will get pushed away further and further from the basket easily on isolation situations.

I like him as a player, but he needs to put on more weight before he can play against top of the line starters in the NBA on a consistent basis. Gallo as a rookie was a legit 225er and at 225 as a PF he will be strong enough going down the lane to absorb contact, shoot, finish, or get to the line. At 205, he's got no shot, he wont be able to move guys.

Jackson seems too scared to participate in these lotto events despite his moves causing this failed season :noway:
