Fascinating

Meanwhile Zion is ahead of Klay Thompson. Don’t take anything ESPN seriously.

even if it was true, would you give max money to the 34th best player in the league ? keep him

Based on age and potential I wouldve maxed KP but I see why we traded him

Yes. His max is not as much as other max's so he is the 33rd highest player for next year with room to get better

how good do you think he can be ? top 10 ? 15 ? i doubt it. i'm just saying, i don't think you can build around him as your franchise player. in dallas it's better for them since he'll never be the number one option. i've said many times that i would have paid him too. but i see letting him go as actually the safer move. i understood it. the percentage of him both becoming dominant and staying healthy doesn't seem great.

I always thought his upside was high, so I could see him being a top 10 guy. Maybe top 20 is more likely if he can stay healthy and get better. He would be nice #2 guy, which I think is worth a max in most cases.

There is some risk as you said between staying healthy and staying out of trouble. He could just as easily be one of those guys that falls off. I would have locked him up though. It's hard to judge risk especially without knowing all the details. There was a lot of risk in trading him too. It at least took a lot more guts to trade him, then to lock him up.

I could argue that Randle is actually a more talented player overall than Porzingis (they're both the same age). Not to discredit Porzingis completely but how much of the "legend of the Unicorn" is because he was a 7 foot guy that could shoot 3's?

I hope everyone keeps underestimating the Knicks players and the team, they'll be playing with something to prove.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

DSJ for Fultz? I'd have to think about that... Whoever's jumper gets fixed.

Take Fultz and his height and him being a willing passer over DSJr.

Objectively speaking, top 5. Very very high ceiling....but his chances of reaching that ceiling? Not something many would bet on.
