Enough!!!
Peaceful means are not going to help good overcome evil. We have to start fighting back. Every time I drive by or come across some right wing trump supporter I let them have it with my words.. this isn't the time for words anymore. This is the time to fight back against what is wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME we encounter it.. all of us. There will always be strength un numbers. The kids started it and now it's time for all generations to fight back.
Start exercising your 2nd Amendment right because they are beyond armed. We aren't. This is why I think that the black king pins have to organize and recruit. They're the ones with the black market (no pun) connections and heavy artillery. Bring in ANTIFA and other groups who are willing to join the revolution because I guarantee you that these crazy alt-right white supremacists douche bags are not going to stop showing up at protests and killing/intimdating folks. They are too dumb and ignorant. Like the republicans, they must be
broken. Ronald Reagan started this racist movement by beginning his 1980 presidential campaign in Philadelphia, Mississippi with his "states' rights" speech. It's been downhill ever since.
I agree, (I mentioned that reagan philadelphia mississippi thing on the first page of this thread, ironic now trump is doing his thing today in Tulsa of all places on juneteenth of all days). hopefully what we are seeing now will evolve into an organized mass movement maybe something like a vanguard party to come from it. If we let the energy get co-opted, it's over. The riots have been effective and accomplished a lot, I've never disapproved of them. But I believe there are also certain limitations to how far you can get with sporadic rioting and protesting alone without a unified message and true group solidarity
Re: guns, we also have to recognize that becoming armed involves privilege because the 2nd amendment was never meant to apply to black people and it makes them more vulnerable, when black people start to get armed and organized and start to try to open carry that's when the NRA suddenly demands targeted gun control they start up targeted assassinations like they did Fred Hampton for example and they enact gun control bills like the Reagan signed Mulford act. There are many cases where police kill black people who are legally armed, you don't hear a peep from gun rights proponents who will never criticize the police. So we need to cultivate and support our own advocacy organizations.
Any gun bans would just take away the ability of self-defense against the white supremacist militias. Any gun control suggestion coming from liberals should start with disarming cops and any discussion of gun violence should start with the gun violence perpetrated by the police or I'm not interested. When put into practice these laws would disproportionately target black people just like the war on drugs did. And the architect of the crime bill might wind up being the president, so I wouldn't trust it. On the other hand with Trump, decent chance he will just put his political opponents on terrorist watch lists and they will no longer be able to buy a gun. He just ran a re-election campaign ad yesterday displaying a symbol of an upside down red triangle in relation to cracking down on anti-fascists (this is the symbol nazis used for political dissidents in concentration camps) and facebook had to remove it for hate speech. They know what they are signaling and when someone tells you who they are we probably should believe them.
