The Kawhi news is interesting

What are the chances he's recruited Lowry to join him on the Knicks? Slim to none right but Clippers aren't who they thought they would be. Maybe maybe not

I put it at 99.9% he resigns on a long term deal

I'd say about zero, he's able to make the most money (I'm fairly certain) staying in LA. The fact that it's basically his home makes me think it's unlikely. The real question is do the Knicks pick anyone up in general, at least big name wise. Not that that's a bad thing, but I'd guess CP3 and Leonard resign, DD linked to LA and Miami. Conley or Lowry maybe?...or is it a move for Sexton. Either way, I don't see a big fish dropping in NY this offseason.

If the reports are true about his displeasure with the way the medical staff handled his injury it could be another Spurs situation. I’m not hopeful though

Too bad he didn't play at Kentucky or was represented by CAA.

Winslow might be a decent bench piece. He might want a few years but there is also a chance he would be ok with a decent salary for a year to show he can be healthy

Him being in the olympics limits that though. I can’t see him forcing the issue to that level while in Japan.

Kawhi left not 1, but 2 championship winning ball clubs just to go home, he wanted to go home so bad, he went to the fuggin clippers. he's not going anywhere.

Monk shoots 40% from 3 on 5 attempts a game. Pretty good and he’s only 23. I mentioned this yesterday after CHA drafted Bouknight and had LaMelo and RoZier that we should go after him.

Should be noted that Monk didn't shoot the 3 well in his previous 3 years. This past season, he shot the 3 well, along with seemingly everyone else in the league in mostly empty arenas.

Have to see these guys who had outlier seasons shoot well again in arenas with crowds in them.

Adrian Wojnarowski: Not if people make calls on him. Not if an organization is doing their homework and knows all the things he brings with him.

I mean you may well but right but I feel like anyone trying to use the logic and temperament of the average person to predict the moves of guys like Kawhi and Kyrie hasn't been paying attention. These dudes are different and they do what they want regardless of how much or little sense it may make to the rest of us.

We drafted and traded for guys who aren’t from either of those establishments

It's going to be hilarious when all 7 of those teams outmaneuver the Knicks like they are in sports cars and Knicks are driving a deuce and a half.

See that tweet by Marks.

I mean, Kawhi is weird and who knows his injury history, so maybe he fakes the Clips into giving him 4 instead of 1 and then he breaks down but profits.
Or, of course, the Knicks. Because Knicks.

But his path to max money was to play the year and resign, but again, maybe he knows he might not last the year healthy.

No more busts.

Monk is an end of rotation player on a winning team. Not a difference maker and certainly not worth using cap space on for even a 1 yr deal.

We’d be better off giving dinwiddle 1yr 25m than monk 1yr 5m
