It's hard to find the perfect guy to back up Brunny that won't cost a ton. He checks pretty much every box needed except maybe the 3 ball. I like Dejounte Murray too but obviously would cost a bunch more.

No but this PG stuff sure seems to have some serious smoke behind it

The things that are happening on Clips side (the fact he hasn't re-signed with them and then him saying he wants to play the right kind of basketball) combined with us being linked to him for a while and finally his fit on a Thibodeau style team....I think this has a shot to happen.

If Randle not included I am totally on board , if Randle is included I am very mixed on it.

im not so sure about PG to be fair. i have seen him choking really hard. he got "lucky" he played with melo and westbrook, who everybody turned on and now on the clips kawhi is the bigger story. i think hes dodging some serious flag with the media and fans.

BUT hes an elite player and with a team like our knicks i think he'd work pretty well. we are oozing confidence and have an amazing teamchemistry. on paper hes the player we need a big wing, that defends, creates and can shoot. so yea im down to give it a go.

Paul George is basically Mikal Bridges on steroids so we would be lucky to have him. One of the two would already be incredible. Imagine both lol. I’m not serious here, but this is dope:

Brunson, Bridges, George, Anunoby, Hartenstein with Hart and DiVincenzo in the mix.

Bridges and George would almost definitely require Randle go bye bye. But dang would that team by a Thibodeau defensive dream (with plenty enough offense too).

It is tough to find the perfect backup, which is why I would just stick with Deuce. Let him develop and keep getting better. He played really well. I know he struggles on some of the pg areas, but those are things many young pgs/players struggle with at first, and get better at. His skill set compliments with Hart though, who can also bring the ball up.

The shooting is a MAJOR flaw from DSJ. It’s borderline unplayable in the playoffs with our group. I don’t think he would have made any difference.
