Steph wanted to play for the Knicks. It's all he talked about. Donnie Walsh openly said we want to draft him.

We were #8, GSW was #7. Curry refused to work out for the Warriors, but they chose him anyway, after promising Jordan Hill that they would pick him.

The sad part was that even if there was a 3 game difference between the Knicks and Warriors at the end of that season, 1 of those games was the meaningless win against the Warriors where Duhon set the Knicks record for assists in a single game with 22. Makes me want to smash my head against a wall even more thinking about it.
