I think this is simply a case of your source playing odds. There's a 56% chance he's right without knowing anything.

I'm not coming at you, I'm just saying there's literally no way for that information to get out. They purposely make sure that there's not an OPTION for that information to even leave the room. The league doesn't do this all by themselves either - they involve Ernst & Young in the operation, and a firm like that isn't going to tie their name to something with any loose ends like, "I have to go pee, I'll be right back" sort of stuff.

The lottery isn't rigged, and there isn't anyone who knows anything who is able to communicate with anyone who doesn't right now.

If like years past it will take place 1 hour before the draft lottery show. So they will begin at 7:30 and start drawing the top 3 picks. The team representative are all in place by now after having all their communication devices confiscated and going through a cavity search by NBA security.

Everyone need to start sending out good vibes and think positive in about 10 minutes.
