Carmelo to the Lakers doesn't seem to help them a whole lot. I think what the Lakers have going for them is their size. Why deal a really good big and add another guy who needs the ball when you already have Pau and Kobe?

I'm just waiting for the Lakers to come out and deny the reports...ultimately pimp slapping the Nuggets one last time and ending this whole charade. Any minute now...

Additionally from Denver's side, I can see Bynum becoming Eddy Curry as soon as he goes to Denver. That'll be a gigantic disappointment for Bynum being stuck in a rebuilding situation after playing for an elite franchise. I'd just collect my checks and relax.

lets not kid ourselves, lakers would be nasty and shoot 500 foul shots a game. if the lakers did it, it would be more or less to have a star for after kobe.

denver wont do it cause it makes no sense financially to lock themselves into a glorified greg oden

its the same thing they did with the nets, we all saw another "myster" team coming into it.

Well if your going by that thought process that an elite player is someone elite of the defensive end just as the offensive end. My list would be shorter then yours. LBJ, Wade, Kobe, and CP3. What makes Carmelo elite in my eyes is that at the end of the game you just get the feeling he can score whenever and whereever he is on the floor. Besides Kobe, Durant, and maybe Paul Pierce (who always makes the last shot) Carmelo is top 5 in terms of late game scoring.

Howard is still elite offensivly comparitvly speaking....and I like Dwill as a defender better then Paul....but I guess we can argue that all day....

They are much more interested in creating fake stories and trade partners than making an actual trade.

Don't tell where going to get screwed again.

If these talks are in fact rue, and Denver is considering, Donnie has to improve his offer my including Fields. Melo would def. sign with LA and then we are back to hoping for another FA splash in 2012 and banking on the future to help us.
