If you are going to refute an article like that due to no quotes. Then why do you believe every article that says Dolan didn't sign Lin due to personal feelings. There have been no quotes for it.

Can't have it both ways.

PS: Location : kitchen

i personally don't think they wanted to sign Lin from the get go. I'm just saying the article doesn't say anything which it doesn't. But if you want to go that route, then I guess you also believe Melo wanted to be traded? As you say, you can't have it both ways.

That comparison makes 0 sense. Anthony went on national tv and said that rumor was 100% false.

If the Houston front office/coaches come on tv and say the same thing then you got a point. Otherwise that makes 0 sense as I stated.

I shut down the new thread that was posted about this, but it's a legit article from a news source and it's on the wiretap...It warrants discussion somewhere, though I'll try to keep an eye on everything and make sure the conversation doesn't turn into a mess of insults and fighting. So far, I think the discussion has been alright.

Wiretap has taken articles from the nydn and the post before, so this is not surprising. A little disappointing but not surprising.

Lin will be fine but I will say this.. I definitely think the PG’s we have are better for this team right now. Although you can argue Lin has more upside, all three can quarterback an offense better at this stage...

Lin not looking good at all so far. 2 turnovers,1 bricked open jumpshot and he' basically invisible.

has anyone else noticed that the around the nba thread is essentially the lin thread. perhaps you need 2 threads then, 1 for around the nba and 1 for lin.

I agree that the PGs we have on this team are definitely a much better fit for this team.

I still think Lin will be mediocre. It's pretty alarming that his knee still hasn't recovered though. Hope he proves me wrong though. Would like to see him have success in his career.

He's recovered, but he hasn't regained his explosiveness yet and probably won't for a few months. It's similar to the injury Chris Paul had.

The Rocket team is playing like a bunch of crazy people just running up and down the court without any sets.

Lin looking awful in the 1st quarter. Asik, looks valuable still, though the whole team looks out of synch right now.

Focusing on the game talk, I think it's incredible watching the Spurs and how they play then comparing it to a young team that's just learning offensive sets. Houston looks sloppy as a whole, and that makes sense...they're getting a feel for each other. The Spurs though, man their ball movement is a sight to watch...my favorite non-Knick team to watch play the game for the past two seasons.

Lin still runs a pretty pick and roll.

I know Lin hasn't fully recovered yet but so far Felton has looked much better than him.

It's going to ruin the thread, though. It will be the only thing talked about in here. Whenever Lin gets brought up, emotions run wild.

It's ok Paco. Cordon off the cancerous topic to this thread.

Felton has looked good, but I worry when the offense stagnates and we need someone to create other than Melo.

Houston wants to run all season, but they're going to get blown out by experienced teams like the Spurs with that approach.

Pray that Amare is the one we're missing that'll keep things rolling if Melo's struggling. It remains to be seen but that's my big hope.

The Knicks are a legit title contender if we got 2010 Amar'e. Thats why I want to see him play.

Donatas Montiejunas is really ballin'...A nice inside move, a long jumper knocked down...he's got a ton of potential.

Ginobli makes the game look so easy.

No, but someone here is probably that person with years of NBA experience. It's the extra comment I was talking about.
