Just want to be sure, has he been CONFIRMED dead? I saw a report that claimed the burnt body in the cabin was that of a maid or something like that.

Wouldn't make more sense to post in the LA forums? While you are here, are you guys worried about Bron leaving in 14 months?

i guess dorner is dead.

"In Los Angeles, there are hundreds of people who have been working to reform the Police Department through legal means, without harming anyone." - this is from cnn.

uhh...dorner tried to do the right thing but he lost his job. if what dorner said was true then the incidents that occurred with the LAPD were nothing new. so these people's efforts ^^ haven't done crap. the police can get away with a lot of stuff.

that lady who beat up that mentally ill guy, of course no one is gonna believe him. who's gonna back up a mentally ill guy? he just so happened to have bad memory.

there's the stop and frisk in NY. I wonder what non violent methods could ever truly get rid of that. and why the bleep is it even allowed?

"In 2012, New Yorkers were stopped by the police 533,042 times
473,300 were totally innocent (89 percent).
286,684 were black (55 percent).
166,212 were Latino (32 percent).
50,615 were white (10 percent)" - NYCLU

He killed innocent people, THOSE are the facts. He was wrong, end of story. If you want to say that the average citizen was not in danger, fine, but the man killed innocent people. He does not deserve anybody's support or admiration.

Which is my main point. I never really debated whether or not he was right or wrong. I was more so irritated by the constant propaganda machine of the media and the spin job by LAPD. It's even more irritating that so many folks eat that schit up as the truth.

However, at the end of the day this is a scenario where everyone involved loses.

Lastly, I thinki it's an atrocity that the couple where were held hostaged for 15mins and released, to ultimately free themselves and call in to report Dorner got gipped on their $1 million reward. Their call led directly to the cornering of Dorner. Without them there's no indication that LAPD would have found him on their own. Why aren't they getting paid?

LAPD is foul on all kinds of level throughout this entire ordeal. Arguably just as foul as Dorner.

An Enid church is a little richer today thanks to the integrity of Lt. Andrew Baugher, a Marine student at Vance, and Ensign Chris Dorner, a Navy student pilot.

The two were driving into Enid Sunday afternoon when they spotted a bank bag in the middle of the road.

After turning around, they picked up the bag and found it contained nearly $8,000. They promptly took the bag to the Enid Police Department

The money belongs to Enid Korean Church of Grace, 724 W. Randolph, and the bag contained $7,792 in cash and checks.

Baugher said the pair did not know if the money was lost or stolen, but took it to the police department.

“I thought it was a piece of cardboard,” Dorner said. “When we passed it I thought it was a large purse and turned around.”

When the two opened the envelope, they saw the checks and the church’s deposit slip.

Not everyone would have returned the money, but Baugher and Dorner said “it’s an integrity thing.”

Both were taught honest as children, and integrity is stressed in their military training.

Dorner was raised by his mother in La Palma, Calif., in Orange County.

Dorner, a Navy officer, hopes to fly SH-60 helicopters used for search and rescue and in special operations.

“The military stresses integrity,” Dorner said. “There was a couple of thousand dollars, and if people are willing to give that to a church, it must be pretty important to them.”

He said it was “a little scary” having that much money in front of him.

Dorner said his mother taught him honesty and integrity.

“I didn’t work for it, so it’s not mine. And it was for the church,” he said. “It’s not so much the integrity, but it was someone else’s money. I would hope someone would do that for me.”

**** insane of the thought of them burning the house down with Dorner inside. Very Waco like feel. They had Dorner surrounded and could've waited him out. They acted like the cowards and burnt the house down. They could've got an operational kill and someone could've been a "true hero", but they decided to burn the house down with the man still inside. Extremely suspect.

All I know is they burned that cabin down on purpose and had no intention of taking him alive and having him prosecuted. Which is why they ordered all news choppers away from the immediate area at the time.

Some crazy kill tactics employed by LE.
