Deeeez Knicks wrote:Giants have a lot of needs. Another playmaker on offense was one. With McAdoo coming from GB and taking over, sounds like they are shifting to more of a quick passing, west coast system instead of the traditional Giants power running game. They will run a lot of 3 WR sets like GB so he fits as a potential #2 in between Cruz and Randall who seems to be more of a #3 wr.

Hopefully they can shore up the o-line next.

OBjr kinda reminds me of Randall Cobb which makes perfect sense. McAdoo is going to run a lot of spread looks and OBjr seems like a guy that can fit that mold like Cobb does for the packer. Maybe lineup in the backfield, lineup in the slot, lineup outside. Just put him all over. He runs really good routes and has good hands. He isn't the fastest wr but he is very shifty and quick.

I wasn't that big on Zack Martin TBH. The only guy I probably would have wanted over OBjr was Aaron Donald but I understand that fixing the offense was the priority.

Why do I get the feeling Reese doesn't think the OL is that big of a need anymore since he signed all those bums?

unless you get a can't miss lineman I don't like drafting middle of the road lineman. That is when you get into the James Brewers, Bradon Mosley, Matt Mccants, Mitch Petrus. Just bench fodder in my opinion.

Either you need to draft a 1st round lineman like they did with Pugh or you sign FA. I difference between a 3rd or 4th rounder I just think you can bring in a undrafted FA lineman that has just as good of a chance to be a bench player.

Lineman are extremely hit or miss. I mean whatever guy they draft now isn't going to start over the following

Beatty, Schwartz, Snee, Pugh, Jolly, Walton, Brewer, or Brown

So I would rather draft a TE and then a pass rusher with the next two picks. You can pick up a lineman latter for depth purposes but I don't see the difference between many 2-3 rd round lineman and 5-6th round lineman...usually they are all projects.

Lewan was the last of the big time lineman so the giants really weren't going to draft a difference maker and that included zack martin.

Yeah have to agree. I don't think any of the remaining OL prospects are really worth using a early 2nd round pick on. Best value would probably be one of the TE's that are left. But, as a Jet, fan, here's to hoping the Giants go OL (as I want the Jets to get a TE). :D

I like Seferian-Jenkins as he has the look of the prototype TE nowadays. Nikklas as well

Amaro seems more system oriented to me.

Agreed. My guess would be the Giants take Seferian-Jenkins.

He actually reminds me of steve smith a little. That would be absolute best case scenario for Giants.

The NFL should hand out little vaporizors with some great bud in it at the room with the high picks.
It is becoming legal all over, enjoy yourselves now. :D

Not at all. I'm an LSU fan and he's Santonio Holmes (mid case scenario) or Reggie Wayne (best case scenario). Doesn't have close to the speed of D-Jax or Steve Smith, has stronger hands than both of them, and he runs way more short routes than those two.

i like the odb (lol) pick for my giants. you've brought in a different oc. no more reads. simply assigned routes where Eli can simply look for the open WR. now you've added the fastest and best route running wr in the draft.

smith in his prime made spectacular catches, jackson has never been that good at making crazy catches, most of his are outrunning the d-backs

Bowe ain't half bad. But yea that's a decent draft strategy. Don't take Bama defenders top 16 either.
