Anthony apparently believed/said that he must have Gibson. Probably a sign that he: 1. didn't trust Rose is fine, 2. didn't want to be a PF again. 3. Thought he needed all the defensive help he can get.

Probably all 3

I guess I missed the memo on Taj Gibson being a difference-maker. He can be replaced.

Bulls fans think Taj Gibson is an all star, must have player. He is a solid role player and nothing else.
Severely over-rated by Bulls fans.

That's my feeling as well.

That's this year.

Ah. Figured I might be wrong.

Not at all, we're Knicks fans. There is no such this as us being "calm"

Could be Melo waiting on Gasol. He could have maybe just told Gasol he'll wait for him? Doesn't seem entirely rational that he'd wait on Pau, but doesn't seem entirely rational that Melo can fit into Heat's cap either. Or that he's holding out hope for a S&T with the Bulls when he hasn't even contacted the Knicks.

I was calm then he started ruling out teams. Why rule out teams if it was under control?

I feel your pain, but we knew what Ray Felton was when we got him. It was our fault more than his. He was coming off a terrible season. Not hard to realize that even if he had a decent season, he'd revert back to crapitude before the end of his contract.

Or he could just be an attention whore like the rest of his draft class.

Based on what we've been told, my guess would be that he's waiting on:

Amar'e trade
Gasol to commit for MLE

If that goes through, then he signs.

Yeah that reported Scotty Brooks meeting with Gasol apparently killed whatever interest Gasol may have had.

Ok, I'm outta here. I gotta get a single thing productive done with my day other than push the "refresh" button to its limits on this forum.

What I mean by that is: I'll be back in 5 minutes.

I stopped listening to sports radio starting last season, but today I've had ESPN and WFAN on along with the SiriusXM NBA channel, switching back and forth like some kind of fiend. Sad day for me :nonono:
