I think they're taking a shot on Rose because of the lack of FA point guards and if it fails, it's a low risk move since he's expiring.

I really liked and respected the hell out of Lopez but I can't say this is a bad trade

this adds the best PG in the east to the roster. you know. when healthy which is never.

but him in a contract year makes this a little bit different

It's a pretty meh move because we know the condition Rose is in. This feels like another Steeve Francis trade.

At least we didn't deal any first rounders. And at least Rose only has one year left so we can come back next year in free agency and be a factor.

And we didn't even ruin this year's cap!

I can't be mad about it but Lopez was good for us and Grant can still be a player in this league.

I think I'm the only one who thinks Jerian Grant isn't that good, he doesn't interest me that much. This trade relieves a lot of cap space. Remember we also have Tony Wroten as our back up PG.... BUT, uh, we have two point guards who have serious knee issues so.

I loved Robin Lopez, but I'm okay with this trade.

I hate some Knicks fans. Now Jerian Grant is a future all-star. Remember Iman Shumpert was the next D-wade?
