I think both the PG and Center positions still have solid players to have. May not be sexy but def solid. This is not the 8th round.

you must not have watched him last year with orlando when he played the lead guard he was the most effective. He's playing with russy now so he doesn't have to playmake anywhere near as much. Also considering I will be running a lot of offensive through my "triangle" team with the best passing big in the game Jokic I don't need a "traditional pg" I need a lead guard.

i've liked almost all your picks and Tyler Johnson is good I just don't love him as a starting 2 because of his size with teague.

Surprised you passed on Hood, he would of been perfect 2 guard next to teague.

We were very close to drafting Hood. However, Tyler Johnson arguably has a higher ceiling. What hurts Johnson is that Miami is a lottery team, whereas Utah is going to make the playoffs this season so Hood "looks" better in that regard.

Nevertheless, Tyler Johnson's numbers over his last 14 games have been noteworthy coming off the bench:

31.3 mpg
16.9 ppg
46.3% fg's
42.1% 3pt fg's
73.6% ft's
3.8 rpg
3.3 apg
1.4 spg
0.9 bpg

It might seem like a bit of a reach to draft a "6th man" as your 3rd pick, but there is a strong likelihood that we will draft a starting-caliber SG later on in this thing.

The Irony with Hoffa is that he can turn that team around if he was not so greedy

he was asking for players for his 113 pick which is hilarious.

Then he wanted KP and Jokic for Dray (he said that might not even get it done).

Idk. Only having 3.9 assists and having a less then 2 to 1 Assist to Turnover ratio isnt that great. I like your team...But kind of need a player who can make plays at the PG position. Olidipo really isnt that guy. Kind of seeing that the Triangle is basically dead. Guards are pretty important in todays NBA.

Not trying to criticize or have an argument, just not sure if Olidipo can be the "lead guard" on a championship team. Maybe in spot minutes, but not at 30+ mpg. But im sure you have a plan for your team and its going to be great :D

It's just a bad matchup for MP. MP36 is always on the defensive, doesn't have enough offensive firepower. Me, I'm always on the attack.

if rose can be considered a guard than so can Oladipo

but in all seriousness he isn't CP3 or anyone like that but he's also never given the opportunity to play that role full time. Since I have KP and Jokic both comfortable with the ball I wouldn't need him to create the entire time. I plan on having another player help though.

I think you read that post of his wrong...to me, it said he is basically looking to make a big deal, wants players (meaning he's not dealing his guys for picks), but would include his upcoming 113 in a bigger trade if he had to.

From what i have seen from KP, he is a pretty poor passer and isnt able to really create offense for himself. He would benifit a lot by playing with a PG who can find him in his spots. Exactly what Rose is not doing and not sure if Olidipo could do either. But so far i like your team, just think your squad could use an actual "starting" PG.

Curious to see the direction of your team :D
