Hardaway back to Atlanta for a D-leaguer to be named later (in 2053)...?

I dislike the Hardaway signing so much I'd dump him on the bulls for Niko and a 2nd.

I wish we would've somehow kept Justin Holiday for a fraction of the cost. Imagine Frank and Justin in the same backcourt?

The worst part was it wasn't an either / or situation in terms of paying Holiday. We had his EBR and he had a little cap hold. We could of went over the cap to sign him to more money than he's getting now, just like we did with LFT the year before.
My only hope is that Holiday was offered the starting role so we had no chance.

Crowder seems to be struggling to fit in in Cleveland. If we take Shumpert off their hands, would they consider Courtney Lee and KOQ for Crowder and Shumpert. I would be willing to sweeten it with McDermitt and maybe even a second rounder to get Crowder. I think you'd be a great fit on this team give us some toughness And is still only 27.

If he keeps this up, Jack is going to have the most trade value come deadline.

From a Detroit perspective we could use him as a backup center.
If the Pistons offered Boban & Jon Leuer, what would be needed to make it work?
Noah however is all yours

Trading one turd for two isn't that compelling.
Would rather just keep the guy who scores and rebounds but really can't play defense that well, in spite of trying sometimes.

Knicks have been receiving phone calls inquiring about Oquin.
How do you guys feel about trading Kyle O'quin?
IMO I would love to receive an additional late first , but I really like Oquin . He is a very hard worker on and off the court. He is honestly a very good back up center. Great rebounder and shot blocker with the ability to shoot the ball from mid range! But I think his biggest value comes from his character and leadership. Kyle Oquin is simply a great person. Even when the Knicks are facing dark times, Kyle Oquin is always happy and brings positive energy to the Knicks locker room.
I would not mind if Kyle Oquin became our Nick Collison or Udonis Haslem

this kid can play
we should pick him up
we should pick him up
The Golden State Warriors have declined their fourth-year option on Kevon Looney while picking up their third-year option on Damian Jones.
Looney would have been owed $2.2 million next season, making the Warriors pay nearly double that in luxury taxes.
Looney will become an unrestricted free agent in 2018.

Knicks trade Kanter + Lee + Chicago 2nd
Cavs trade Jr Smith/Shumpert/Frye + Nets pick top 5 protection.
Cut Shumpert and Smith. Let Frye expire. I don't want Shump and JR sabotaging Frank and his mind.
Cavs get a lot better and ditch 2 ugly contracts
Or can change it where we get osman and their young PF and Cavs first instead of thr BK one.

A protected first rounder.
Oquinn is better and on a cheaper contract. I want a first for him also.

We have a log jam at center. Need to dump somebody. Trading Lee opens up time for Dotson and McDermott. Keep Oquinn and jack as veteran leaders. Lee has been really good for us, but if take a pick for him and Kanter 10/10 times. Trading Kanter opens up mins for oquinn and Willy. I like Kanter, but we need to make a move.

Honestly I want him to stay long term at a fair contact. 4 years at 48 Mil. Trade Kanter and develop Willy while starting Oquinn for now.

fair enough but the log jam isn't an issue that needs to be addressed
Willy isn't out playing KOQ or Kanter right now. He's having a hard time getting on the floor because he's still growing his game.
Noah is a non-factor
a $17mil non-factor
Im all for moving those two for a pick
I shouldn't have overreacted
Im more upset about throwing in the bulls pick which I think will be very valuable
Two top 10 picks, one in the top 5, would be amazing
but its a long way away and I really truly dont think Clev moves that Nets pick for anything. Not with James leaving and not in this solid seeming draft.
If we can get a player and a pick for Kanter and/or Lee then yes, I accept that you are right and this probably is the right move
Im just also aware that the young guys need vets like Lee to show them the right way to play even in a tank year

Is it believed that Kanter will opt in next season?

So... Hezonja on the block. I think he'd fit in nicely if we don't have to give up too much for him. Thoughts?
