actually its a welcome relief from the homeristic views of most around here. its ok for people to have opinions that arent always sunshine and rainbows.

Not really, but ok. I don't think people are being homers at all, but I know trolling and being negative is your schtick. Enjoy your day.

Burke played great in Utah then played behind Wall so his minutes cut a lot

I like the signing. Hes not that great but at least he's under 25 so he fits the youth movement idea. And that's one less boring old fogey we have to watch. Now dump Jack or Sessions.

Players bounce around all the time in this league until they find a home. Burke might play well for us. However if he does, what happens to Frank ?

He had good moments in Utah but very inconsistent and honestly he's been a bust.

This is a low-risk, high reward situation. If he balls out for the rest of preseason, he'll make the roster. If not, we'll see what we have in him in the G-League and let him develop. If he does, we'll call him up later in the season; if he doesn't, we'll cut bait. No downside.

Scott Perry has been doing a great job so far. He's saving Steve Mills from his own ineptitude.

Where has he been hiding it?

The guy was an all-time great at Michigan. He was the ninth overall pick in the NBA Draft. The talent is clearly there; it's just a matter of whether it will translate to the NBA and whether he works hard enough to achieve that end-result.

Why would Burke have any more of an effect on Frank's development than Sessions or Jack would have?

I personally think his ego had gotten a little too big. He needed to be humbled.

He's probably confusing him with Alec Burks.

Hold up. I thought you liked them for Frank. Now they don’t matter?

Neither of those things really mean anything, especially considering the lack of talent in that draft overall.

I don't really care to have an extended debate Burke, since he's not a major addition, but what are his skills exactly? What, if anything, does he hang his hat on at an NBA level?

Well given Noah's situation, this seems like a no brainier. We will figure out who gets bumped after 12 games. It will be most likely Burke himself but who knows?

I do like them for Frank, but I never thought they were going to impact his eventual ascendance to being a starter, or make the organization deprioritize their commitment to him in any way.

It seems that the poster I quoted thinks that Burke might, so I'm asking for clarification.

They'll trade Courtney Lee so that Hardaway Jr. can take back his #5 jersey and Burke can be #3.

If Lee leaves, I get crowned Capndamus for the year though.
