Once again, pg role is to put his team in a position to win, doing whatever he has to do to get it. Russel Wilson running doesn't mean he isn't a QB.

If you were a Jazz fan when he was drafted, you'd have been sh*tting on him for 3 straight years.

Maybe we can give KP and Frank another 200 NBA games too. Wait, 100 more games for KP and 215 for Frank.

Because rebuilds take about 5 years?

Our rebuild has taken 20 years and we still have nothing to show for it.

Didn’t really watch Trey in Utah. Did he show flashes?

Plus remember, we got to see Trey in college.

And he still shot awfully and wasn’t like this. Frank don’t even have college years

In 5 years Frank still won’t be Burke’s age right now

These aren’t real games. They’re nice to get reps to develop dudes but not for someone to say this guy is a bonafide piece for a contender

what do you mean they aren't real games? those teams are fighting to get home court advantage in the playoffs.

Frank is younger than half the projected first round this year (according to tankathon)

Ayton, Porter, Bamba, and SGA are all older than him as freshmen and mocked to go in the lottery. And he's only a month and a half older than Trae Young. Kid is young as f*ck
BaF Lakers:

VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles

i don't get the burke vs frank arguments cause in reality they both thrive off playing each other. we should enjoy watching them play together instead of pitying one over the other.

Yeah. I don't go there with "not real games". Frank and Burke had a good game against the Twolves who were looking to clinch. This game is against a Wiz team that should be trying to maintain playoff position - and Burke had a good game and Frank looked solid on defense.

I honestly don't get it either. Their games are fairly complementary. Kingless tried to throw some snark with "Iverson/Snow", hoping for some bashing with Frank is Snow, but maybe he forgets Snow was a big reason those teams did well and he did a LOT to cover up for some of Iverson's defensive deficiencies, and also allowed Iverson to play off the ball some. I'd rather not Snow as Frank's ceiling as an 8th pick, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if you a person likes winning basketball. But Kingless likes Kanter, so not sure if true.

Frank had a chance for a layup earlier, but moved in slow motion... Today game is exactly what I think Frank will be. I've compared him to Eric Snow and Anthony Roberson.

He is slow as hell, lacks dribbling ability, and can't shoot. He's a good defender. I don't go by exactly what a player produces on the court, I go by what he shows. Good game or bad game we know Trey has shooting ability and ball handling ability. Difference between this year and other years, he's getting more time and his shots are going in.

The same way we can scout a college player and say we don't want him because we don't see this or that, a player being drafted by the Knicks doesn't change that. I didn't see Frank play before this year. But he's not showing things where I feel he'll be a keeper or a franchise talent. If he can get to the basket, but missed layups, cool. But he can't. If he can actually dribble the ball and break down a defense but his teammate missed the shot so he didn't get the assist, I'll understand, but that doesn't happen. He literally shows no offensive ability. No, I don't need him to score 20 ppg or get 10 apg, but he plays like the 38 year old version of Pablo Pirigioni. Prime Eric Snow. They play defense, but they aren't defensive stoppers. And on offense everything they give is a bonus. That's not what I want with th 8th pick.

Remember discussions we had about Ben Simmons this past offseason and he hasn't even played a NbA game? Remember how I praised him? I know what I see.
