Tony Parker got so much penetration on the court it landed him Eva Longoria. The guy is a hall of famer because of how good he was at getting into the paint. Frank can barely get into the paint with a screen. We wouldn’t still be debating if Frank is a point guard if he could do half of what Parker could do.

Knicks working on Frank's confidence

A professional basketball team is working on the confidence of a player drafted 8th overall in the NBA draft.

Frank is not a bad player. He's an inconsistent player. He's shown some really good talent and has shown a lot of weaknesses. Y'all crazy to write someone off 30 games into their sophomore year on a ROOKIE deal when he has a tremendous work ethic and humble beginnings. I think he'll figure himself out and consistently make positive contributions at some point. With that being said, so far he is not the level of player that should block us from drafting or acquiring anyone at the guard position.

Don’t disrespect Tony.

Tony was that dude at PG. As my uncle would say “Tony will crack. your. ass”. Stayed breaking defenses down. Couldn’t keep him out of the paint. Tony would have been the GOAT PG in Knick history. Tony was the fastest mofo on the floor...and would hit you with that floater. Frank is nowhere NEAR Tony.

Don’t even look at the stats. Watch how he plays.

And Tony Parker's exact words about Frank:

“He’s a great defender, he’s got length. That’s always good to start your career, to be good defensively. Offense will come. It’s his first year, so he needs to go around the league one time and get used to all the point guards. I think he’s got all the right stuff. I don’t know if New York will be patient. But I think he can be successful in this league.”

Kyrie Irving on Frank:

“He’s a great on ball defender, man. Very long. Very active. Not afraid of the big moments. Just a developing young player. Can’t wait to play against him more times throughout this league.”

No one really questions whether Frank can play in the NBA. his defense alone will keep him in.

Can he develop anything consistent on the offensive, particularly at point is the question.

Frederic Weiss is the worst draft pick in Knicks history.

Mike Sweetney wasn't a great one either.

Frank is nothing close to the worst pick ever no matter how he turns out

Kenny Walker is up there too.

Frank would benefit much more from locking himself in a gym with a group of guys and playing pickup ball everyday over the summer ala Jimmy Butler

That would only have a chance of happening if he consistently got the better of his opponents. If he didn't, it would likely have the opposite effect and he could end up a shell. It doesn't appear he has the mental makeup to compete at this level. So far, he is tissue paper soft. I'll change my mind when I see some real backbone and fight in him.

I mean there's a post in here that literally says Frank is not an NBA level player, and it got 3 likes, so yea, there are people that question if he can play.

Other posts saying he's garbage, he's a beta, no improvement, he's regressed. Just go through the thread.

Yeah, that sentence isn't even opinion, it's just straight wrong. It's like saying the sun is cold; it's not opinion, it's just false.

Just in the last 10 years, frank has already had a better career than:

Jaramaz, early antentkonmpoodidjfmgbd, papanakdilpou, Andy rautins.

Those are second round guys. Hisncomp is Weiss at 15, Sweetney at 8 and Kenny Walker at 5 if I recall.

which is true, but dotson is having a better career than frank so far.

It came naturally to me. I won a spelling bee too. I find it hard to relate to functional spelling illiteracy, but it may be the norm rather than the exception at this point. That wut stuff must be truly disheartening.
