The MEM pick protections drop to top 6 next year and is unprotected in 2021. They’re kicking off a full rebuild. That pick has never been more valuable.

No one said Rozier is a better asset than Knox. Not only do you not have facts, you’re so desperate to that you’re making up arguments.

Horford is older but will still be sold for an asset. See Gasol interest

I’m a troll? Incorrect. I’m just not a giant homer who flip flops with every decision the Knicks make. But if I wanted to be one, thankfully you’re here to be a mentor.

Lmao that Boston package is trash

They have to add Tatum

Tatum in New Orleans with Julius Randle... BAF dream come true 8-)

Pelicans were never trading Davis to the Lakers. They purposely wanted to sabotage that lockkerrom and it may have worked. In the offseason, they still won't trade him there. In fact, I believe they'll take a lesser offer (from the Celtics or another team) and just send him there to spite the Lakers and particularly Klutch Sports.

Rozier is a restricted FA. Their picks aren't as valuable as you think (2 might not even convey this year):

The Memphis pick will likely be protected this year (especially if they trade Gasol and/or Conley)
The Clippers pick is looking like it might be protected this year too (after trading their best player, doubt they make playoffs)
The Kings pick isn't as valuable as it was thought to be (it was projected to be another top 5ish this year, and its #14 and they've got a decent shot at the 8 seed)

The MEM pick not conveying makes it better. 1-6 next year and unprotected in 2021. That’s now their best asset.

The LAC pick is lottery protected again next year

SAC has dropped.

BOS meh. But they can throw a lot of them in.

Rozier might not be tradable. I’ll confirm that.

Flip Horford. Teams will pay for his services.

Brown > over every prospect we have currently.

The Memphis pick likely doesn't convey this year, and even at top 6 protected next year, it might not convey especially if they dont have Conley and Gasol. The upside tho is that it's unprotected in 2021 which is very valuable, but not as valuable as our unprotected pick this year.

Teams are not gonna give up much for Horford who will be 33 this summer and making 30M

Rozier can only do a sign and trade, but has no reason to do so b/c that takes away his choice of destination (that would be doing BOS a big favor, the type that players dont do)

I don love me some Brown (I was a huge proponent of trading KP draft night 2017 for Brown, Crowder, #3), but he's closer to receiving his $$$ than Knox which is something that I think teams value. Brown gets paid in 2020 and Knox in 2022

I said this on the general board. Its crazy.

Reminds me of when John Hollinger said the Knicks have absolutely nothing to give up for Melo (before the trade). And then when they traded Gallo, Wilson, picks for Melo a couple of days later, Hollinger wrote that the Knicks got completely ripped off and Denver got a "huge haul."

I'm not even embellishing a little. That's exactly what happened.

I'm looking at the Gasol trade interest as a measuring stick for what Horford can get. Gasol is older.

Maybe Rozier likes jambalaya & gumbo?

You might be able to sign Rozier for a small exception or whatever. So how can he have trade value? He doesn't have much of anything. He has less than Dotson/Trier who at least have a small contract next year.

If you're trying to win next year, I'm not sure teams around the league don't view Rozier as the better player to achieve that goal.

Hopefully Tatum remembers that he was dangled publicly by Boston for AD, to at least slow the AD trade train down, when he becomes a free agent later.

And hopefully it just further adds to the belief among players that Boston is cheap and petty and doesn't treat players right.

Keep watching Mr. Davis Senior.
