He'll have to pay through the ass to get her to sign that NDA. Money that he probably doesn't, or won't, have. I'm not a divorce lawyer but his NDAs haven't help up in court at all. Courts are reluctant to issue prior restraints on 1st amendment freedom of speech issues. Besides, it's only a "memoir." What's wrong with memoirs? :)

Holy ****. Alito gave a hyper-partisan speech for the Federalist Society tonight, and this guy live tweeted it. Odds that COVID gets Thomas or Alito before a vaccine takes us to herd immunity?

Here's another battle between Dems on the "western front," as it were. Progressives are now fighting a two-front war in the Democratic Party. :box:

He came from the 3d Circuit where I practiced. Luckily I had not yet appeared before that Court before he got nominated for SCOTUS. He's horrible. So is Clarence Thomas and his crazy wife.

This is long simmering, from my memory.

Hate to say it, but I think Michael Brooks' passing gave Sam more leeway to be more pragmatic and mainstream/moderate rather than having that hyper progressive alternate in Brooks.

I believe, however, that Michael joined Sam in supporting him in his prior debates with Dore. Dore isn't really all that bright IMO. Brooks ran circles around him. Look, Michael was an unapologetic socialist and his voice - or that or a replacement - is no longer there from anyone ... well, except Jamie Peck but Michael was a more of a force especially given his vast knowledge of international politics, which dwarfed that of Sam's.

Personally, since I'm on that part of the left's continuum, I appreciated Sam being nudged to the left but it was Sam's views that attracted me to the channel. Also, Michael's impressions.

Dore is a clown, so I'm totally supportive of them clowning him.

Yeah Michael was a special person. Unapologetic, bold, he was unique and had grand visions. I don't necessarily always agree with every single far left viewpoint, but he's the best at defending those points... more than others on the spectrum like Krystal Ball, Jacobin, et al.

Michael's impressions were the best. But yea, I still like Sam. I really watch because of him. And I never get tired of him dunking on Dave Rubin.

I love Trae Crowder, a deep southerner who says "fck bridging the gap" with the Republicans. And Trae knows his southerners.
