MY question is does GA have the balls to go after trump? As a citizen of the state I say yes. Fulton County Da says yes they will investigate.

The DA made it clear they are pursuing this. Raffensberger is doing what Biden is doing: leaving it to the appropriate agency to pursue.

Notice how Biden has clearly stated he will not be seeking to prosecute Trump or his administration and that he will leave it to the DoJ to determine those matters. If anyone thinks that Biden is a pushover for doing that they are completely clueless. It actually is a green light for the DoJ to pursue criminal prosecutions while side stepping all of the partisan BS that gets used to stain opponents. The last thing Biden needs is to spend his term answering questions about his partisan witch hunt which is exactly what the right wing media and conspiracy nuts would latch on to if he so much as even hinted that he wanted Trump to be prosecuted.

So when an executive defers these matters to justice officials it is because it the proper way to handle it. It means Trump is in deep trouble now in GA in addition to NY.

The fact that the 10 living former defence secretaries put this letter out, at the behest of Dick Cheney, yes DICK CHENEY, tells us they must have been aware of something going on at the Pentagon or within the military that scared even them. Un friggin believable really, we are beyond having any words to describe what's going on anymore and how incredibly dangerous this situation we find ourselves in.

One thing that has truly amazed me, is how the Markets have disregarded everything that's gone on. If these markets weren't so manipulated they would have tanked a long time ago. That may have changed, because we now have 170 business leaders put out their own letter urging the Hill to accept Biden's win. The Republicans are really playing with fire now, they are owned by big business and finally their masters are beginning to be worried. Even an attempted coup, regardless if it succeeds or not, is very very bad for the markets, for the economy and for big business.

Real Estate and housing are going to crater without a massive rescue package in 2021. Mortgages and bills can't not be paid. It is like mass self-hypnosis so far, but the chickens definately are coming home to roost over the fox in the henhouse and the cows are jumping the fence. One thing markets know about Biden is that he isn't kidding about economic rsecue funds. Unlike the current shyster(s).

This is a prolonged crisis. Countries are still invoking lockdowns as the virus mutates and becomes more contagious. It will take at least a year to roll out enough vaccinations to turn that around. That means 2021 will be the other shoe dropping economically and that America would have been economically destroyed if Trump had won considering how little him or the GOP were willing to do to help anyone except their big donors. It sucks that they dug a bigger hole for Biden's administration to dig out of, but if the Dems win GA today I expect a big push from the WH to bring a unified congress to the table to get more of the necessary relief to float the boat further into 2021. At least with the Dems, this country has a chance to hang on for dear life now and ride this out. The alternative would have been the effective end of this country as a functioning polity.

Today’s the day. If you’re in Georgia and you haven’t voted already make sure you vote. Make sure you check up on at least 5 friends and make sure they vote. Offer to give people a ride to the polls if you can. This is it if any meaningful legislation is going to pass the Senate needs to be wrestled from McConnell’s lifeless hands

Yep, the GOP is a fascist organization at this point. The Dems cannot afford to show any mercy from now on.

Don't know but it seems to be going smoothly with what may be a higher turnout than the general election. The early voting was robust so Dems are getting the turnout they need.

Exit Polls will not give you a read on the outcome. They're going to overly skew Republican anyway without telling you anything about early ballots

GA starts the count after 7 PM

There will be some early voting numbers released during the evening, but this will take anywhere from 2-4 days to count every vote and post the final results.

The good thing is GA is battle tested and knows how to conduct itself and it will get done soon

I don't know if the GOP is going to send their lawyer goons to contest everything if the Dems have clearly won, but I wouldn't discount it.

Thus, the other good thing is this dance was already done and everything pretty much got thrown out of court, so if they do try to litigate it the courts will likely rebuke them swiftly

I predict Senate stays where it is, which is the wet dream for "moderate" Republicans

Red Senate which will obstruct and refuse to even hold votes on bills and officials for the next 4 years so nothing gets done, and a Dem President who they can blame for nothing getting done

Because the party throwing a temper tantrum and refusing to participate in the democratic process is the ones which "mature" people vote for, facts over feelings, beat their chest about how great Democracy is.
