IQ isn't ready to play a lot of minutes but he can be a great spark for us or an injury fill in, Kemba probably needs load management he might not play in back to back games

Yeah the ability for Thibs to load manage our two point guards is really important and was definitely a concern. With Burks, we’re essentially three deep with veteran PG play, and IQ can fill in if necessary.

Both Kemba and Rose are non-traditional scoring point guards, so this will be an interesting test for Randle and RJ to really step up as playmakers. I saw Fornier setting Kemba up quite a bit last year, so that’s another playmaker we didn’t have in the rotation last year.

Overall, feels like our offense should be ready to take a big step forward from last year. A healthy Mitch and Noel is going to be critical for our defense to stay strong, and I wouldn’t mind seeing Knox flipped for a defensive bigger three.

Agreed. Plus this allows us to slowly bring in Deuce. IQ is still LEARNING how to play the Point so just let him be himself. This is just a great move.

You seem like a hit at parties . I'm sure you said the same things about the D rose trade last year right? Again, if used correctly he can be productive as he proved last year towards the end stretch of the season. If it doesn't work then they gave up nothing. I'd love to hear your alternative plan by the way

And they made deals with the Thunder during the draft have to think they inquired back then which makes sense why they did all that moving around to save cap space
