Is the Joker bigger than Embiid? I'm think maybe the same size maybe? Certainly he's not taller.

Plus the Chicago pizza just plain SUCKS.

We will gladly take Lavine though, when is he arriving? in 1 or 2 seasons?

P.S. - yes, I have some friends I grew up with in NY who repped the Bulls and their frontrunning ways pissed me off

I was a huge Bulls fan during the Knicks Bulls days (and yes I was a bigger Knicks fan). MJ and Pippen were 2 of my most favorite players and loved Phil Jackson (the head coach).

I remember a game in Chicago where KP threw up a thousand midrange shots, bricked all of them and got thoroughly outplayed by Markkanen. And I still had to hear fellow Knicks fans call him a franchise cornerstone and a future superstar. A nightmare.

So no, not for me

Same size probably. Jokic seemed a bit heavier than Embiid last year. Anyway, I was just making a point

The 96 Knick team was probably the biggest threat to the Bulls in that season. If those suspensions against Miami never happened, we would've taken down Chicago. But David Stern practically gifted Chicago a easy sweep against Miami.

This Knick team does give me 96 vibes though

I wasn't being serious, just needlessly and lightly stanning for Jokic

I do feel like Jokic can back down opposing centers in the post with more ease than Embiid (though Biid is quicker), so it'll be interesting to see if Mitch can hold his own in the post and not get pushed around. I'll say that Mitch does possess some of the qualities that make Ayton and AD good defenders on Jokic.

Very disrespectful to your friends.

I always admired the Thibs run Bulls teams. We weren't doing **** and wished we played like that at the time. Bulls coming back to relevance is exciting for the league as well... but tonight, we war like olde tymes.

Thibs very much exemplifies New York Basketball - along with Taj and Joakim who all found themselves in Chicago. There was never any quit, no amount of adversity would get our teams down and that to me was the New York Basketball culture showing up in Chicago.

Derrick really is a special dude who is still Chicago's son, I'm glad that Thibs believed in him still and that he's still out here doing his thing. He was left for dead in the league years ago and his resiliency makes sense when you know where he comes from.

No city on this earth compares to Chicago, except New York.

Word.

Miami limped into Chicago after playing the bully ball Knicks for ECF ECFs. Mike and them waxed the Alonzo, Tim Hardaway, Dan Majerle and the dirty P.J. Brown.

I predict 5 technical fouls…3 on the Knics and two on the Bulls. Coach Thibs, Randle and Rose will get Teed up. Derozan and LaVine’s on the other side.
Close game with one team missing at the buzzer for the win.

We had a chance to go to the finals that season.
