Clutch 3 and clutch rebound agreed but…Brunson carried late.

yes brunson was great as well. it’s just nice to see Randle starting to make clutch plays as of recent since he’s been pretty bad in that area

Not sure why thibs absolutely refuses to play Obi at the 3 like the life of his kids depends on it. We need a 3, Obi is a dynamic athlete that can shoot, but completely sacrilegious to even try it for any significant amount of time for some reason. I think this is another one of those moves thibs will take a lifetime to figure out and then gets credit for finally figuring out.
He doesn't play him at the 3 because even though Obi is a great straight line athlete he lacks the lateral movement to guard 3s effectively.

I guess we won't know until thibs actually tries looks like a genius despite being late af. Still can't be worse than Barrett defensively, who's a smaller, slower, and a lesser athlete than Obi.

This will also relegate RJ to his natural position at the 2, which might make him a better defender like in 2020.

I think the reason he is becoming more clutch is because he's still developing. Technically he's entering his prime still. That's why it's never a good idea to give up on a player early unless it's really obvious he's a herb.
