He's a good coach. But he's probably not the coach to take us to the top (see Mark Jackson to Steve Kerr... or whoever was before Phil Jackson when he took over the Lakers/Bulls).

Problem is who out there is better and available...?

Don’t exactly need a rocket scientist of a coach to make this work. We have the pieces to be successful with a mid coach. Thibs already showed us that.

We just need a mid coach who won’t run players into the ground night in and night out

so many people are going to eat their words about randle

I don't really know how good of a HC he is but, I'm done with Thibs. Never wanted him to begin with. I will say he did provide a culture change and some sort of stability for a few years. The guy before the guy. That's all I see him as. The FO may not see it the same though.

If we fall out of the playoffs and lose in the play in, we may see a change. That's too far of a drop from where we were a month ago.

Coaching change is needed if we do not get to ECF.
Just pay Jay Wright.

If the NBA is going to continue featuring an 82 game schedule that is jammed packed with back to backs they need to start restricting coaches from burning out their starters.

Not all on Thibs but a lot is.

I can‘t remember a team who lost 5 starters at the same time due to injury. (JR, Mitch, Hart, Brunson, OG and …)

The Knicks definitely need to trade Randle the next time he goes on one of his offensive streaks. The last thing that we need is to be sitting here a year from now hoping that he finally is healthy for the playoffs.

Yeah, Randle's becoming almost as injury prone as Brunson.

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!

Knicks waterboy was just hurt. Out a week. Down to backup watergirl which means smaller bucket and less water, as we can‘t risk losing her.
