Yep. He was also the Jordan Brand Classic MVP that year too. Then he went to UNC and was underwhelming... just like Cole Anthony.

Whos your top 10?

i don't know, i never bothered with that because i think it's limited who we even think about taking. lamelo and edwards are 1 & 2. twist my arm and i would probably take edwards at 1 but i might regret that. i don't care about haliburton, like i said, and i also don't care about wiseman (sorry), obi or okongwu. unless there is a clear sign of dominating the league, i'm not taking any high lottery pick bigs. i can see why some teams might take them high but i don't have interest. deni is interesting. maybe if the knicks pick 3rd or 4th they'll take him there if the other two are gone. at 5, 6, 7, it'll be cole or hayes. i'll probably take cole but i'm not really 100 percent sure. if it's later and they're all off the board i guess i'm taking okoro if he's still there. because what we really need is another wing who can't shoot.

Nassir Little couldn't even get into the starting lineup at UNC and averaged like 9 PPG lol

very intersted in Kira Lewis. To the point if we are picking 6, 7, or 8 and Hayes is off the board with the assumption that (Ball, Edwards, Wiseman, and Deni are off the board too).

I would seriously consider trading down outside the top 10 and nabbing Lewis with a late lotto pick.

We aint taking Deni Avdija with a top 6 pick that would be disgusting. Lamelo Ball is overrated. We aint taking James Wiseman for obvious reasons. Obi Toppin would be great to get but we need a PG desperately. Killian Hayes aint better than Cole. Tyrese Haliburton might be an option but it's not a clear cut option. Isaac Okoro plays the same position that RJ needs to play, would be a terrible fit pairing them together.

You'd take COle over Lamelo and Hayes? I would take Hali, Hayes Kira Lewis and Lamelo over Cole - no question. Cole for me is neckand neck with Maledon.

Would take Haliburton over Lamelo. Cole over Hayes. Tre Jones over Kira Lewis. Theo Maledon is garbage

Interesting... I forgot Tre ...I prefer him over Cole too.

Yeah he's a nice player, but picking him top ten would be a mistake. Would trade up our 27th to get him because he's more of a borderline lotto pick. Too risky in the top ten.

The NBA postponed the fcking lottery! It's at the end of June? Why not just push it back 30 days?

Hi weaknesses kind of remind me of Frank. He might be the better shooter, but his speed, low athletic ability, sketchy court awareness when it comes to some of his passing, and lateral quickness screams Frank. just a better version of him.

Thought the exact same thing. Although he's craftier than Frank he's still raw and has a high bust potential. We absolutely can't afford to come out this draft with another Frank Ntilikina.

Not only did Haliburton lock up Kira Lewis but he destroyed him on the other end. No way would I reach for Lewis in the lotto or even trade down out the lotto to get him. Would rather take Haliburton if anything

I keep trying to talk myself into these other guys but after LaMelo and Edwards .. Haliburton still my guy. I like Lewis too though and if it’s between him and Cole, I’m taking Lewis.

Just to add .. I feel like Haliburton speed and footwork is very underrated

i don't see them taking haliburton. he's doesn't have any real "star" projection. he fits nice with rj but who really knows if rj is gonna be a star either. they gotta take a chance on someone with more potential upside. our talent level is abysmal.

Yeah I agree I think some in the FO will still have him as a strong candidate option but ultimately we take cole

That would be unfortunate. I bet the FO sees Cole as a scoring guard with some hops and name hype coming from a powerhouse hs like oak hill, and they overrate the **** out of him.

He showed nothing aside from solid rebounding and pretty good athleticism. Most mocks finally have admitted the dude is not a top 10 pick in spite of his hype coming into the season. Hal (and Hayes) earned their mock pick placings hands down. They are better fits, better defenders, better shooters, and higher IQ players that set their teammates up.

Haliburton has that length. The things he needs work on can be fixed. He needs to gain some weight and strength. He needs to tighten up that handle. He needs to fix some things with his shot but it not a total rebuild. He's a better shooter than RJ.
