Is RJ Barrett a beast?

RJ Barrett was 0-9 from 3 and most of them were wide open misses. No one can be that bad.

How many players have out played RJ who was picked after him from 2019? its a decent amount at this point.

honestly I'd rather have drafted jarrett culver, at least then the organization would have known he sucked and not had a 5 year albatross on our hands. we had the worst record in the NBA and the worst outcome of anybody who had a pick that year. even tanking fails when you're the knicks

RJ has not improved in anyway whatsoever. I had a small amount of hope for him in his 2nd season but he was a disappointment last season and is an even bigger joke this season.

He has some very severe flaws offensively which I doubt he can fix.

I reluctantly voted yes at the time-- being someone who didn't like RJ as a player but wanted to like him. The reality is there is potential for us to pay Cam (a little more than mle)and Grimes combined the same amount we're paying RJ with much better results.
I still believe he can be a contributor on a winning team, but that contract.

Whats the talk they had on todays game, that RJ is clearly hurt or ill? Because he was moving really slow compared to games earlier in the season. Im still believer on RJ, but he really needs to examine his game on videos, as it seems he is still trying to do too much. Hi is forcing on the offensive end on his drives, let the game come to you and continue the shoot on open looks. Also in the defensive side he needs to get half step out of the player he is guarding, because he clearly cant keep up with to guards when he is too close to them.

But he is still 22 years old and there is still room for him to upgrade his Basketball IQ, but he needs some guidance. I hope Brunson would be that guy...

true he was a much better finisher than rj but his game was ugly as hell which is why his nickname is bad porn lol
