they probably wont get rid of Schoen until the bye week at earliest if they are getting rid of him. They need someone to make roster decisions and probably with the HC out don't want to upheave the whole process...but he can't stay.

They need to go into the offseason with a desirable job and you will lose some HC candidates because they don't want to be tied to a GM on the hot seat.

it basically needs to be thanks for Dart...and we should have a pretty desirable job for a new GM/HC to come into considering they have there QB of the future and some worthwhile pieces with an expected top pick. (trade down with QB hungry team).

And you should be able to turn this around in a year.

Agreed. I have always said they should go together. It's hard to know where the incompetence starts and ends with them since they worked so closely together and you never really want to do a half measure with a new regime.

yeah i get it, but i'm sure tim mcdonnell and chris mara don't actually have to work. they can figure out a way to keep them employed by the giants and collecting a check, but without any actual influence in the decision making process.

let's not forget that daboll was also a schoen choice so schoen still has to take a large amount of blame for that. let's see what happens in the back 7 games of the season, i don't expect much and we'll probably finish with 1 or 2 wins and hopefully that results in a front office sweep
