would you rather have the 4th pick or the 8th pick next year ?

We're winning around the same amount of games even if you take out Melo. Our floor in a lineup w/o Melo is going to win about 25-30 games. You'd have to win about 15-20 games to even be close enough to get a top pick

Umm no sir

Our record without Melo is abysmal. Brooklyn Nets territory.

He's literally the only player opposing teams have to worry about. KP is getting there but not quite yet.

We won what 1 game without him this year, 0-10 last year and 6-34 the year before that.

But at least we moved the ball

next year is Melo's final under contract if he opts out
thats 25mil owed to him vs a waive or buy out of 50mil

coaches determine playing time
melo isnt a cancer to his teammates and if his play is so poor that should help the tank argument

you simply wait it out with Melo unless you can agree to something beneficial to the team

Melo wont want to sit here
he's playing chicken with Phil because Phil, like you and similar people, are impatient and foolhardy and might go so far as to waive an allstar and eat his contract rather than deal with him and be patient

You said the same things when we had Nutbury on the team. Be patient. Just wait we will turn things around. Everything is great, no need to tear it down and rebuild now. You were also Isiah's biggest fan and perfectly willing to watch and of course go down with the ship. bNo is right. Addition by subtraction.

neither of those things are true

i was not pro-marbury
i was not pro-isiah

make up something else

I still love ya, but that is not true. I know this because you were the first person to be awarded Most Valuable Nutrider during the Zeke era. A simple Google search will confirm this. "First Ever Most Valuable Nutrider Award" :D

the difference between the lakers and us was 5 wins. phoenix and us, 7 wins. see my point ? but ok, let's say the 6th pick instead of the 4th pick. same difference.

Best player on a losing franchise means nothing.
His career is on a downhill projection.

sure^^ it means he was/is our best player.

what do you think of guys like calderon, afflalo, rose, noah, amare, sasha and so on
did we lose because melo let them down?

His me first attitude, not follow the coaches instructions and play his own way was great? Maybe if he bought into the system we would have won more games and wouldn't be trying to get rid of him,

Read what I quoted.
I want to burn this bitch to the ground.

i'm talking to him, not you

That was exactly my point. Melo being here does not benefit either party. He has some left in the tank to help a contending team and we are rebuilding. The only reason he would stay is for non basketball reasons whether it's his son or him liking to live here idk.

I'm still shocked at how much Melo sucks compared to what I thought we were getting initially. I was expecting someone that literally was the kryptonite to LeBron. Someone that dominated the game offensively and played well enough in other areas. ESPN highlights threw me for a loop. The dude sucks. Zero D, zero creation, can't get by his man anymore, can't jump, destroys any and all team chemistry, runs coaches and players out of town, attracts literally no talent to the club. He's a bum.

Now he wants a buyout? LOL. He can fester on the bench for the next two years. Hell, send him to the D-league. I wouldn't bend an inch with this punk. He'll open up to being traded to more locations real quick... or he can rot till the contract expires and we move on as a team, a concept he's unfamiliar with.

People really don't get tgat this is what this actually is.

We see what's what.

I'm not shiting on our best player because the Knicks lack team building skills.

Rose says it's not about money and he wants to win.

If that's a sincere sentiment then I wouldn't worry about him signing here.

again

not so

no such award
not for me certainly

stop spreading lies

I hated Curry so much before we got him and tried to support him when he was a knick but couldn't
I hated losing picks especially the one that became my perfect knick - Noah
I hated the sexual harassment, the whole coach carousel, etc

I dont have to defend myself from your lies

calling names doesnt make it so

I support this team 100% and couldn't care less who runs it or plays for it. Its the team, always and forever.
I see mismanagement and stupidity especially from the front office and I call it out
I see quality from the same and I call it out

Phil has done some good things
his dealings with players and media are horrible though

It's Begley so I don't believe it but if this somehow happens there's clearly no direction. or maybe he's the only point guard we can afford u until Frank is ready. Either way not a fan.

I know he has leadership qualities but I don't like this. Why would Rose even want to be here. I'm going to let it play out.

Nah, I'm just not some ignorant Melo fangirl that worships the ground he walks on. I call a spade a spade, and he's a bum. If you replace Melo with LeBron right now, even swap, we're in the ECF next year. With Melo, we're a lottery team. He's a bum.
