Potentially

the unknown about Zion's career does throw a bit of a wrench in the long term future. And you will have to get more defense if the plan is to build around Luka/Zion/Sexton. But the good thing is the 3 of them make less than 30% of the cap. So when KP expires you should have a lot of freedom to add to that core.

Zion and Sexton will probably be much worse next season ratings wise (Sim has started downgrading players who got injured) so not sure standing pat is the way to go if you want to compete in this league.

Yeah its def my fear with MPJ. He only played 9 games and is young but he is going to finish the year with 36/21/56 splits. So a lot relies on how they handle him. He is elite this year.

I will wait and see. Things change all the time in a keeper league. That is the reason my approach is so different from my regular leagues. In those leagues players like Bey, Moody, Bitadze would already be on the waiver wire. In this league I have years to be patient with them. Thanks for the advice though.

the tanking teams have already been purged too so the other noteworthy deals will have to come from playoff teams or teams just trying to jump start there teams or teams later in the year who thought they were playoff teams get an early start on the league FA reset year.

Very open to any deals available. The added cap space also helps out going into this years free agency as I will need to resign a few key guys so I am interested in preserving that but at the same time I will explore some deals and see what’s out there

It seems like the SIM ratings is always a guess. One season they use injuries, the next they do not, this season they are using them again.

You could sell low on MPJ or stick to your guns because this is a SIM keeper league. I am sticking to my guns on Sexton and Zion. Selling low on those great contracts is not even a consideration.

300 dollars is not peanuts this time of the season.

no way am I selling low on MPJ, he one of the best players in the SIM coming off one of the best offensive seasons we have seen in real life and I don't think a 9 game sample size is going to completely trash his value.

He is my second most valuable player behind Steph.

Yeah that contract is toxic lol it doesn’t help that he’s not playing irl either. But he’s still a 3 star player for this year. I’d give em to a contender for dirt cheap if anyone had cap space and wanted a scorer.

most good teams just don't have $300 in cap of a worse player. Most of the bad salaries have been bought out or released already.

Yeah I’ve been looking at rosters it’s just to complicated and Kemba ain’t exactly worth gutting a team for ima just live with him for the year.

yeah its one of those situations where he may just have to stick on the roster. If he was anything under $100 he probably would be very easy to move. Matching $300 is very difficult to any competitive team. But you never know if a team that was competitive falls out of the race and some big salaries are moving maybe he can be part of a multi team deal (you just never know).

Had to ugly it up a bit against a gritty Jazz team. Siakam got the best of Isaac this time but forcing Harden to go 7-24 with 5 turnovers and 6 fouls and not letting anybody else go off was a gritty performance.

Beal proving his worth with 37/8/6.
