I don't see the concern, he's bigger/stronger than Siakam who has spent a ton of time at the 5 the last 3 seasons. He was even starting full-time at center before they traded for Powell.
We have all the ingredients to play 5 out, it's up to the coach to do it.

Randle played the 5 a lot as a Laker and was good defensively. I remember posting about it when I was calling for the Knicks to sign him before the Pelicans snatched him. Maybe with Mitch's injury, it will force Thibs to try out Randle at the 5

That's a very nice mix of D & O. Anything we might lose on D with Randle at the 5 would probably be more than made up for with the O there - IF Randle buys in.
