How the **** do you turn people who are desperate away at the border? People in need. Helping them is good. Turning them away is not good. You are not a Christian. You are a fraud.

They are in want. They want a better life. They can get that by copying America's free market model under Christian morality, instead of voting for godless socialists and fleeing when their country turns to crap.

America can't be a model to the world if America is flooded with People who are not American. This shouldn't be hard to understand.

There's nothing in the good book that suggests being a pushover and coward. No is one of the most important words a Christian can master as we'll always be tempted by wicked things and wicked ideas.

How is helping people cowardly?

Leviticus 19:33-34
“The alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.”

Yo I'm like how anything that he's saying is even remotely Christian

My Mom is Christian. I feel like my man hasn't even read any of the Bible

Locking people out of the country doesn’t really sound like a focus on good.

Locking out people you don't know and haven't vetted is good. Are you a father? You would let anyone walk in and out of your home without knowing who they are? I mean why is this such a hard thing to accept?

Part of the problem with the left is an idealistic wishing of reality instead of accepting things as they are. I'd be all for open borders and no need for vetting if everyone was good. That's just not reality. Again, I don't see how that amounts to being a Nazi or 'hate'.

Dude your home isn't the southern border. Or an airport, for that matter. No one is asking you to take in migrants.

For the most part, Biden’s first term was perhaps the most progressive 4 years we’ve had. It certainly was the most pro-worker agenda that I can remember. Joe even walked the picket line with striking workers. He would’ve done even more had it not been for Senators Manchin and Sinema.

But Joe has dementia and/or Parkinson’s and these conditions get worse, not better, over time. We need someone new and younger who can communicate with younger voters.

Every time Joe opens his mouth, people are waiting for the next flub. The agenda will continue under a different nominee.

I don't know if I buy he has dementia and/or parkinson tho. He is just old as hell which compounds his stuttering. He is still pretty articulate in smaller 1 on 1 settings. With that said, I would switch out a candidate if it meant a win but there still isn't anyone that polls better than him and moves the needle. I also take some stock into the whole Allan Lichtman and his 12 keys prediction.

I do not agree that people with criminal backgrounds, who are known socialists, who will bring a way of life antithetical to American values have a right to become American. Choosing people with similar values, that have skills, and only what's needed is putting America first. Saying everyone else has a right to America is putting America last. Why would I be in favor of that?

Do you seriously think that all of the people who are here undocumented have criminal backgrounds and are what you called "socialists"?

What evidence do you have for that? That's absurd.

Also, do you know where the America First ideal comes from?

It's literally American Neo Nazi propaganda

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/America_First_Committee

The America First Committee (AFC) was an American isolationist pressure group against the United States' entry into World War II.[1][2] Launched in September 1940, it surpassed 800,000 members in 450 chapters at its peak.[3] The AFC principally supported isolationism for its own sake, and its varied coalition included Republicans, Democrats, farmers, industrialists, communists, anti-communists, students, and journalists – however, it was controversial for the anti-Semitic and pro-fascist views of some of its most prominent speakers, leaders, and members.[4][5][6][7] The AFC was dissolved on December 11, 1941, four days after the attack on Pearl Harbor brought the United States into the war.

Please tell us more about your views.

Don't straw man my position. I believe people should be vetted. You claim everyone has a right. So it is you who think Nazis have a right to come to America. I don't want national socialists in America. There are more than enough socialists here already.

I agree, people should be vetted. So why don't you support Biden's plan to shut down the border?

I don't think that nazis have a right to be in America. I simply accept the fact that they're already here, and have been for decades.

Now I know why he was completely lost in the church and state discussion. Not only is he clueless to the founding documents of this country, he is clueless as to what it says in the bible as well. Unless he can bend it to his will like the genocidal slave owners he defined as good Christians with morals. Total clown. I'm out of that mess.

I watch the Knicks from afar and a bit more this year but I don't know if Randle is the second piece. I know he better but he gives me flashback of the typical Knick big man, that's kind of good but not really, a la Eddie Curry.

As a result of Biden’s complicity in Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people, will cost Biden the Michigan electors.

I think that Biden’s foreign policies have been an unmitigated disaster.

He is nothing like Eddie Curry. I think we will be competing at the top of the food chain this year. Gonna be a fun ride if we can maintain a relatively healthy team.

Neutral 123 wrote:Anyone can call names. That's my point. Actually pointing out inappropriate behavior and why is something else. It's funny how Trump went from being cool with many black people, having multiple rap songs created about him to being called a racist constantly by the media.

Am I supposed to believe that Joe Biden is more likely to spend time with black people and be cool and comfortable around black people than Donald Trump? Give me a break. If Donald Trump was who they claim, Donald would have gotten checked long long ago.

If you think “rap songs” will be the reason black people will vote for this man to be President then you’re even more clueless than I already thought.

Please don't straw man what I'm saying. I'm saying that Trump didn't become a 'racist' until he ran for president. His history showed him as someone far more comfortable, social and willing to do business with black people than any other Dem and that includes Barack Obama lol.

Trump LITERALLY got his start in the presidential arena by stoking racist sentiment with the birther movement against Barack Obama!

He was the face of the tea party and the racists who said Obama was not an American citizen, and his birth certificate was foreign, (which was a blatant lie and the **** epitome of racism)

This is like Jan 6 the revisionist history, I’m so sick of right wingers trying to gaslight re-write history that we all saw with our own eyes.

if you want to compare Randle to knicks from a while ago perhaps Maurice Taylor or Zach Randolph

I don't think Newsome can win over Midwest voters. I like Whitmer a lot.

Newsome policy-wise idk... I mean a lot of business left Cali under his watch. Homeless issues and crime have been big topics. He looks the part for sure, and he can tell Trump what his daughter in laws *meow* tastes like, but other than that I don't think he brings much.

Whitmer seems like a strong candidate and she is from a state that Dems need. just don't know if she actually would move the needle.

Homelessness and crime were issues all over the country due to the pandemic. Crime has dipped back down to pre-pandemic levels. And the murder rate has plunged.

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2024/06/10/us/us-violent-crime-rates-statistics

The data shows steep drops in every category of violent crime in every region in the first three months of 2024 compared to a year earlier, continuing a downward trend since a coronavirus pandemic surge.

Also, the WSJ

IDK, I associate Newsome with a lot of problems during the pandemic. would vote him over trump, but i dont think he galvanizes anyone

that guy is really good at staying on message but he needs a year or two to reshape his image and flip that car salesman/coastal elite vibe.

Newsom would wipe the floor with Trump. He may be a little full of himself but he went onto Fox ”news” and kicked Sean Hannity’s ass in a debate. He’s an excellent communicator.

Return to New York Knicks
