Boozer would likely be a bench player.
I see nothing wrong with having him come off the bench and put up 12-14ppg. We need bench depth and bench scoring and he's the best option available, IMO.

Sports World Report is the worst site in existence. They are doing nothing more than grabbing chatter from around the net and quickly rewording the grab and spamming the net with it. Their titles make no sense and follows the same exact stupid structure every single time. They have only 2 "writers" (M. Jussim and L. Moronar) putting out thousands of spam articles (impossible unless its a bot it they are running text through some sort of sentence restructure PS). . Their obvious intent is to do nothing more than get hits and hope they can sell the site to someone. They used to have an option for comments and feedback but I was ridiculing them and they stopped allowing them lol.

anyone ever watch Kings? why is Jimmer Fredette sucked in NBA? is he too slow or not able to defend in the pro level?

Looks like his confidence has pretty much been sucked out of him. Every thing does has a hesitation to it, a 2nd guess feel to it. He's the type of guy that needs to feel confident in his shot and take it without thinking. That's what made him so great at BYU. It's like Willie Wonka when he starts to second guess himself and not feel good about what he's doing...his chocolates end up being terrible. Shooting the ball is Fredette's chocolate. Yes, he's not the most adept defender but there's plenty of guys who's had long, long, long NBA careers without being a good athlete or strong defender.

As far as the next possible question? You know...how about we give him a shot in NY? Knick fans are looking to lynch anyone with half a skill the second they don't produce up to (often times unrealistic) expectations. What do you think the answer will be to that question?

Fredette's probably best suited at this point to trying to latch on with the Spurs. He'll have a specific role, the crowd won't be looking to tear him a new one every time he misses a shot, there's a sense of tranquility there that I think he needs. Warriors might be an option as well since the are more free wheeling and shooting oriented, getting him in a system where he can just shoot without thinking (like the Warriors do so well) would probably be good. Barring that? Maybe going overseas where he can probably put up big offensive stats like he did in college, build his confidence back up, and then try the NBA again.

Honestly, he got unlucky. The Kings were probably one of the worst situations for him. A dysfunctional organization with a ton of young guys that play the same position on a team with little to no structure or system? Yeah, if anyone wants an example of a young guy drafted into the wrong situation, Fridette to the Kings is a great one.

Agreed. The Knicks need proven vets that can perform roles that they need, they really don't need to take any more chances on guys that might but hasn't. If they are looking for offense off the bench, Boozer can do that. He's defense is brutal but there's really not that many options out there in terms of bench scoring that also can defend and/or not come with worse baggage.

I think you can do Melo at the 4 with RoLo at the 5. That can work. There's a chance we do that rather than start Porzingis.

I don't think there's any chance Jose is not the starter if he's here. Even if Grant continues to look ready and quality.

You could see Derrick Williams start and he and Melo are 3/4 interchangeably. That seems to make the most sense if you look at everything, though I favor Porzingis starting personally.

Boozer on this team makes NO sense! His skills have diminished and everyone knows this except him! And he said himself that he wants a chance to compete for a title! While he's a good locker room guy, I've still never heard of him being a teacher ala Kurt Thomas. Obviously we won't compete for a title this year so why not take a chance (Like El Pooch said) on someone like Ndour? I like veteran presences but only when it's beneficial in some manner. Boozer is just NOT that guy.
