The guy who has shot 37.4% from the FIELD (and is sub 1PPS) for his career is a scorer?

This same thinking had people say hell no to players like Whiteside. Sometimes it takes players time to find footing and establish themselves.

Humility is good -- seems like a great guy -- but he has a lot of tools out there. He's not going to be Larry Bird with the J but seems like he has the potential to be a really good scorer, passer, and registers across a number of hustle metrics. That's a diamond in the rough but he speaks more like he's just a small cog. I believe he said he sees himself as a backup and would be happy with his 20, 25 MPG.
He did however say he was obsessed with winning.
Something to watch for. This guy should expect and strive for greatness.

The guy I worry about is Williams. He seems kind of ADD. Like he doesn't focus well. Just going off the SL interview they did with him. It's not really a knock, there's medication for that but it could be why he hasn't put it together.

She never talked to me other than an occasional smile here and there (couldn't tell if it was because my zipper was open or I had something in my teeth or what). Prom was coming up and most of my friends were resigned to either not going or asking some ugly or unpopular chick to it (to be sure that they at least have a date). i said, screw it, what's the worst that could happen? She says no? She laughs in my face? So I asked her. Her response? Sure, I love to. She told me she always wondered why I never talked to her (so she knew who I was and that I was interested).

I don't know I kinda got an different vibe from those interviews. Yeah part of it is that I think he's just a humble/shy type guy but I got the sense that he felt the opportunity in NY was going to be great for him in terms of taking his game the next level. He sounded amped about being back home in familiar surroundings and that having family and friends cheering him on will be great. I think he'll be fine. He did seem to put the emphasis on defense, rebounding and hardwork which is good. I think if he focuses on that, whatever offense we get will just be gravy. He apparently looked good enough in his rookie season for the Magic to think that he can not only play PF but also be a stretch 4 offensively. So he should be able to tow a little of the offensive load. I think this will be good. Anthony has a lot more help offensively than he had last season without having to worry about his alpha role being taken over. He's got better defenders around him and everyone appears to know their roles. I think the dynamic is going to be fine IF Anthony fully accepts and buys into it.
