Not for nothing, I get the competitive nature of KD. But you DO NOT play if you’re injured prior to free agency. There’s a chance he costed his career. Let’s just hope it’s partially torn because he should recover on that.

The medical clearing process by team docs in the NBA is gonna undergo serious reform after this. Especially coming on the heels of a situation like this causing Kawhi to want out of San Antonio and catching some backlash for it.

Kawhi and Unc Dennis are looking revolutionary in game and in player load management and handling medical affairs independent of the team.

This fkn sucks man.

Still think Knicks max KD though. Actually think even more reason they go harder after Anthony Davis. Probably think with AD, KD won’t have to carry as much of the load. And if we somehow put together a somewhat competitive team around AD, then they might want KD to just heal up and take his time. Getting way ahead of myself though.

I have to believe that KD's agent had him examined by his own doctor before this decision was made.

How bout we just rebuild with young guys and just grow our own stars.

Im good with Knox, RJ, and Mitch. I wanted KD, but I would always prefer to win with a homegrown star.
