that seemed kinda forced

Bron's a legend but it always sounds forced and calculated when he speaks, that's part of the reason he never reached MJ/Kobe love for me.

Lakers have won 6 titles in the last 20 years, and only 9 of 30 teams have won a title game in that time...

It’s true...organizations win championships, which means we ain’t winning sh*t until Dolan sells

True. Lebron cares too much about his image and legacy. That's why I respect Melo more than him. He was flawed but you can tell he was genuine.

my biggest hurdle has always been the era's.

LeBron has played in a watered down EC with no real threat during his career (I guess you can say Indy with PG was there best comp).

MJ was beating the pistons/knicks/pacers/celtics...and that is just to get to the finals to play SEA/Utah/Lakers/Por

Outside of Golden State...its been pretty easy for him. He's an alltime great but the there hasn't been much competition the 80's and 90's were littered with top 50 players of all time.

In retrospect.. if we traded for AD..and signed maybe Jimmy Butler.. we could've been where the Lakers are...

To be fair I thought AD signing with us long-term would be a long shot.

I also thought Mitch would make a strong sophomore leap.

Eh, we never really had a shot. And even if we pulled off a trade he would have walked anyway cause the rest of the team would have stunk. That was always my issue. Trade the farm for AD and he just would have walked for nothing.

Not with Fizdale as coach. I do wish we had Thibs this past season though. Maybe he could've vouched for signing Jimmy on the team and that would've forced the Knicks to go all in on another star.

But things never work out for us.

Yeah I know. This team is still a long way away. All we can do is stay the course

Lakers gave up Ingram, Lonzo, Josh Hart, 4th overall pick in last years draft plus 2 future 1sts

If you think Knicks ever had a chance to land AD and match that return the Pelicans got for him then LOL

The only player that really gives it to AD on both ends is Embiid, but I wouldn't want to trade for him. Think the Heat are the only ones who could trade for him and get him in the shape needed to reach his potential. Cause Riley wont even let him play if he's not at the weight they would want him at.
