I don't think he's a bust or will be a bust. His ceiling is basically Andrew Wiggins though.

This serves us no purpose as we don't have the luxury to keep him as a 4 or 5th option. Knicks are just hoping he turns into a #1 or #2 option, which is never going to happen.

It's the sunk-cost fallacy. We drafted him very high at #3 and now he has a fat contract. It's just a prayer that he turns into a great player now at this point. Knicks really went all-in with a pair of 4s.

RJ is not a good defender, but I believe in his size, and I'm willing to bet on his catch and shoot 3's more than his pull-ups.
