just sounds like his opinion
But the Knicks are in a good place to use Julius Randle and picks to make another big move, so that justifies them giving up two of their scoring options. Anunoby’s health is also a factor that’ll help determine how this trade ages.”

I had this same thought. Are they building around Brunson/Randle or is he the next trade? I can't possibly see him being traded this year.

I think pretty good. No secret the Knicks want to make another trade and he’d surely be a part of that for salary matching

But if a deal doesn’t arise I don’t think Leon will get desperate and force it either, so he could just finish out the season.

Sounds like Knicks for clicks. Not a big fan of Mike.

Randle should look better without RJ there. I haven't had much complaints about Randle this year, though. Watching him play bully ball has been a relief. Hoping the 3 point shot comes back. Don't think he'll hover in the late 30's for long. My only disappointment is not seeing Mitch and OG play together. If Grimes wasn't such a disappointment this year, I'd be excited to see all 3 of them on the court, because in theory, Mitch won't have to always pull from the rim to be a help defender.

Should be 100%. Whether that's to turn DDV into a someone like Lavine, for an IQ backfill like Brogdon/Clarkson, for a stopgap center like Capela, or to Washington for Tyus Jones + Gafford.

That to me is the most interesting thing about the OG trade. When Mitch gets back next season we could have a dominant defense with Robinson, Anunoby, & Grimes starting around our 2 Allstars.

Randle + picks for Markkanen.

Grimes + Fournier + picks for D. Murray

Let's keep it rolling.

oh snap

Just to go down that rabbit hole... if we move Randle and say Fournier for a max-player then who exactly are we getting back? Who is definitively better than Randle?
Embiid - he seems happy
Jokic - must be joking
Giannis - he is busy about to try to win the East with his new BFF
Tatum/Brown - best team in the League
LeBron - LeBron will finish his career a Knick for sure at age 50 with no knees.
AD - Currently balling for the LAkers
KD - Slip Reaper fixing his mistake? But who is going to get our boards?
Zion - too fat, bad fit, and we traded his BFF
Booker - face of the Suns
Curry - not leaving
Towns - too busy having one of his best seasons
Spida - But where does Randle go?
AntMan - not going anywhere.

Did I miss any stars that are Julius level or above?
Basically the list devolves to Durant and Spida (in a 3-team).
Next year will be a new dice roll, but the horizons are not looking great.

We need more help at C. Those deals are not helping. Though I like Murray's price. IDK how they got him to agree to that...

A rotation at C/PF between Mitch, iHart, Precious and Markannen is really not that bad.
