Yeah this draft sucks

But that's the fun part, convincing myself I can find a gem at 11.

Win or lose, let it be known Melo is one of the best and most well-rounded GMs I’ve encountered in BaF. SIM did Tatum dirty and still he’s found a way to get the best out of this team.

a good lessen to make the playoffs and you never know what is going to happen. Going from losing the 1st play-in game...to a couple wins away from the Finals! Crazy!

Kinda odd not seeing you involved in it this year. Love the way you participated still. Look at you progressing and moving DET into higher levels of competition. Well done.

I knew from last year I wouldnt be able to participate in this one so I got myself ready but I still missed it :D

Sources:
The BAFlanta Hawks will likely be moving on from Myles Turner this offseason.

The team is looking to get cheaper at the position.

Myles Turner has a lot of fans in front offices around the league and some offers have already been made.

The Toronto Raptors are in the market for two types of players:

1). Long defensive wing
2). Defensive guard

Reach out to me if you have either (or both) available.

He's got plenty of room. He has all those released player contracts coming off his cap plus he can go over the cap by 10% to sign his draft picks.

released players stay on the books for the duration of the contract. He only has one contract of any weight coming off which is pat bev from what I see.

as of today he does not have the salary to sign all of his picks based on scale it looks like.

that looks like more than 10 percent to me.

10 percent is only a 100 dollars.

the second pick alone eats all of that expiring.

I dont know what the scale is for every pick...but its looks pretty tight.

For some reason, I was treating all the released guys like they were buyouts.

Still, with the cap going to be around 1070 next year, he'll have 107+ Pat Bev's 57 + 7 or 8 in cap space now, he'll have over $170 which is enough.

if the cap is going up them he might squeeze it. Still a bad situation to be regardless.

do you happen to know the scales of the picks?

Asking for myself...does 10% only apply to the year you draft them or can you extend a rookie and still get that 10% if you capped outside of draft year. Have not followed to much of the cap rules since I had alot of money to play with the last two years.

I believe the cap rises 1% per year, so should be about 1070. Scales of the picks? You mean draft slot salaries. It's on the main page:

Thanks.
Based on this you are correct he should have enough. I did not factor in the 10% rule when I made the statement.
