did anyone watch open court: coaches edition? george karl said andre miller was the smartest player he coached. he used a example of millers first game in sacramento, he didnt know the team's offense or practiced with the team and still controlled the team. we could use someone with high bball iq like him

I haven't looked at this thread for a few days. Is Seraphin still available or am I missing something? I can't find anything about him signing with a team.

And I think Boozer gets a lot of hate for off the court stuff, he would be a solid pickup for the exception. 12ppg and 7rpg in 24 minutes is really good production.

Seraphin is still unsigned. The issue appears to be that he's only getting vet minimum offers right now (from the Lakers and Mavs is what I've read) and he's holding out for more. I would not use the room exception on him.

Yeah, Boozer is no dream date but considering the dogs that are available right now, he doesn't look so bad. You know what you get with him and you can use it. It's offense and rebounding and not much of anything else. A good coach can work with that. Guys that can do a couple things well and other things poorly is actually more usable than a guy that doesn't really do anything well but isn't terrible at anything.

Like I said in the previous post, he's not dream girl but at this point we're looking at basically fatties, chicks with side burns and funky bo's or horse faced pooches. Boozer may not look so bad relatively speaking.
