Javale Mcgee is by far the dumbest NBA player of all time. No thanks.
Make the Knicks great again!

Lol why are you all acting like this next signing is gonna make or break anything meaningful without even seeing this potential team play together?

Next year is all about Prozingis and grant showing they can be starters and stars one day. And having a heathy Melo. We are another star player away from contention.

Maybe they're looking at someone in Europe. It actually seems like the Knicks did a ton of scouting in Europe last season (according Phil and Mills' town hall).

Yep. We drafted 2 of them. Perhaps we simply save the money for later.

Flexibility for a future trade or two is a good thing, right?

Yep. We can also outbid capped teams for waived or bought out players.

Haha....you say this before you've watched him in a Knicks uniform. You'll change your tune soon enough....DW is the definition of bum.

He should do well in the triangle because it allows him to use back door cuts and run the break to show his talent. He needs to be a better rebounder and make corner threes and he will be well worth his five million. He's only 24, Phil is building a young team and I for one like it. Just trade Calderon

Why is the triangle good for Derrick Williams, exactly? He's not a good shooter, he's a terrible decision maker, he doesn't dribble or pass well and plays no defense. This myth that he's a great cutter....is just that. Ray Allen and Rip Hamilton were great cutters, always looking to get open. Williams falls in love with jumpers, which he's not a sound shooter....and only works to the hoop if he knows a lob is waiting. And the ironic thing.....the thing that you'll be scratching your head over in a few months, is that his only redeemable talent is that he can jump high....and even with that leaping ability, he gets punked out at the rim wayyyy to much for any alleged high flyer should. He panics, gets caught in awkward angles, or simply gets forced into an awkward jump from defenders. He's young and has a haircut that resembles Dave Chappelle in the Nutty Professor.

Trading Calderon is a great idea, but unfortunatly that can't be done until he can show other teams in the NBA that his old body still has enough kick for the two years he's still owed. I think his body has too many miles on it, and he'll never regain where he was a couple of years ago....but he has to play a good stretch before anyone is calling for his services.

Honestly can't believe we re sign lance Thomas for 1.6 when we could've gotten copeland for 1.1 at least copeland can score and shoot the 3...

D-Fish loved Lance. It's his hard work and do whatever's asked mentality that got him paid. Hopefully it's a nice indication to agents that if their players show up and play the right way, they'll be rewarded.

How do you figure?

everyone seems pretty excited about the role players weve added and ok with not getting the big names or drafting the quick fix player

anti-zeke to me

I just wanted Christmas who is a good defender and Cope who is a versatile SF/PF who can spread the floor and get some points

Now I want Boozer who can score for us and help that weak PF position

and Im always curious about Bynum

Ryan Hollins does most things poorly but does a couple things well...block shots, finish, run the floor, be a thug. Seraphin really doesn't do anything well is the problem. He might be barely passable in a lot of things but there's not really one thing that he does well in any specific role that you may want to bring him in for a few minutes here and there to do.

Bynum if he's healthy would make the most sense since the limited minutes he'd get as a 3rd string guy should allow him to last the season and you can probably still throw him out there and expect him to put up some big per minute stats.

phil jackson was operating from a so-called zeke state of mind. that's now written fact thanks to rosen. he wanted deandre first. then monroe. and settled on his 3rd choice which was splitting the money up. you can't even argue against that. that was published. he was down to his last choice by his own admission. you're all deluding yourselves.
