but you do, and its fine. You should we are knicks fans.

I have hope because we are going from Larkin/THjr/Lance Thomas/Lou Amundson/Jason Smith

to

Calderon/Afflalo/Melo/Porzingis/Lopez with Grant/Williams/KOQ sprinkled in

I get to watch actual skilled basketball players.

If there was only a way for Phil to trade for Birdman and sign Delonte West, I'd be set. Yeah...shut up, I don't care what you guys think about West. But seriously, if you think about it both those guys would fill actual needs (a backup defensive big man and a offensive option off the bench that can still defend)

West will be 57 yrs old and you will still be asking the knicks to sign him. You have a problem

Are we sleep what is going on with Phil ? I mean this team is not ready to win. We need help this is crazy zero movement or rumors nothing is this really the team we taking to the season? We need a shooter and another big to rebound. Do something with the 2.8 we can not afford to wait to the season start etc. We need help now today. Let's go wake up Phil and mills.

Who is available for $2.8M that will give us a significant leap forward?

Ok...how about hoping the Heat buys Birdman out so he can join the Knicks? Can I at least have that dream or are you going to take that away from me?

Hollins is doo doo. Seraphin can at least score (and rebound a bit). Hollins likes fouling and being a thug; he lacks everything in terms of basketball skills that are not athleticism based.

Heat buy out Birdman for $2.2 million (save $5.6 million on the tax) and we sign Birdman for the $2.8m (getting him back his full $5 million)? Phil can work it out with Pat the Rat and Birdman's agent. Birdman the player is basically the tattooed version of Phil Jackson the player was.

I feel like any Zeke comparison requires at least 2 future first rounders being shipped and a disregard for defense...but I mean, he definitely was more interested in Jordan and Monroe than Lopez, so if that's the pre-requisite you got it.

Haha....you say this before you've watched him in a Knicks uniform. You'll change your tune soon enough....DW is the definition of bum.

He should do well in the triangle because it allows him to use back door cuts and run the break to show his talent. He needs to be a better rebounder and make corner threes and he will be well worth his five million. He's only 24, Phil is building a young team and I for one like it. Just trade Calderon

I watched a youtube Video where you can see all of his dunks last season. I think a lot of his defensive rebounding issues does exist because everytime the opponent throws the ball towards the rim he is leaping out for the break.

Notice that the bulk of the players left in FA are the talented "trouble" players? Players will lesser (sometimes much less) talent but without the baggage that could lace up their shoes are mostly signed. Time to take a gamble?

i used that term because somebody else said chasing lamarcus would have been an indication of that.

i agree though, what zeke did was something very different.

Thomas and Layden both were eager to flip picks and young players for talented vets. The main difference was Thomas liked healthy talented vets with character issues while Layden apparently liked injured talented vets without character issues. Flawed both ways and both overpaying. Whatever Jackson does, at least lets hope he doesn't overpay.
