I feel like any Zeke comparison requires at least 2 future first rounders being shipped and a disregard for defense...but I mean, he definitely was more interested in Jordan and Monroe than Lopez, so if that's the pre-requisite you got it.
zeke was unique.
fail to sign 1st choice in FA market is common thing.
Important thing is your 2nd-3rd choice.
zeke would trade 2-3 1st rounders and then give some crazy un-insuarenced contract to Amare.
phil cant signed DJ for MAX contract but he didnt gave max contract to Bynum. That would be Zeke move..
he didnt give RoLo max deal too. RoLo could get better offers if he stayed little bit more like E.Kanter did. But Phil signed him on good contract. His contract would be bargain in 2 years.
Affalo deal is also reasonable.
O'Quinn move is good too.
maybe affalo wasnt 1st SG option but it wasnt a desperation move for sure.
Phil's A, B, C plans were good for this summer.
Letting Shved go, signing D-Will looks like mistakes he did but all in all i can give him B grade.
I gave A- grade for his drafting. (Not just for Porzingis. Grant is nba ready pg and Hernangomez has m.gasol like potential.)
